July 24, 2004-

OH what a day, following an interesting night. Bliss had her first run in with a vampire. She didn't take it very well.

"He has pointy teeth, and he growled.....and he bites..."

Heh. Poor little Bliss. Maybe she'll get used to Kojiro.

When are the others coming?

I don't know.

I want someone to play with....

I know, perhaps there will be others soon. I'll see about getting you a pet, will that be okay?

*nods*

Alright, we'll get you a pet. Now to decide what kind of pet.....

July 29, 2004-

It's been quite busy. Bliss finally met another like her at the Restful Relic. I hadn't been so sure about going, but she excited. I would have preferred she not run off like she did. Since she's alright I suppose I can't complain. Especially since it meant she did meet another like her, something she's been wanting for awhile.

She's also taken an interest in ballet. I tried showing her the nutcracker, since she showed so much interest in classical, and the dancing intrigued her. So, its become a new pursuit of hers. I'm beginning to miss my rock music, but she has taken over the stereo. This may become a problem....maybe I can get her hooked on 80's love songs and work from there.....or try swing....I need something with words....

August 7, 2004-

Hoshiko and Bliss have been having fun around the house. Either taking rides on Gabes or working on yoga. I think the only problem they run into is Hoshiko is a day person and Bliss is a night person by nature. So their times are clashing a little, nothing major, but it gets interesting when Hoshiko is awake with the sun and Bliss had stayed up most of the night staring at the moon.

Tomorrow I think I'll take them both out around the place, maybe a stop at the beach and take a look at the boardwalk shops. Something new for Bliss that I know Hoshiko will enjoy...

I can't believe she is allowing weapons. It's just asking for someone to get hurt. Of course she wouldn't listen to me. At least Miori seemed to agree with me, at least a little.

Anyway, I've been at the inn a lot more recently, which is fun. Finally my guardian trusts me alone. I got to meet Daisuke who seems really nice. He's not at all like Raife, which is a relief. Speaking of which, I was right about Cirru calming him down. Maybe he wouldn't be such a pain if his guardian tied Cirru to him. I know its terrible to think that way, but he's always moving and jumping around as if he doesn't know how to sit still. Not to mention he cares very little about whether he gets himself hurt or not, and thats dangerous for himself and can be dangerous for others as well!

Also, I've been trying to figure out petting. Every since....that...I'm not sure what it was, but I know it has sharp teeth and looks like a person...well ever since I caught him petting my guardian I've been curious. People pet animals. But my guardian isn't a pet. So why was he petting her? I tried petting Cirru to understand. So did Hoshiko, she seemed to find it funny. I just don't get it. Cirru's guardian also seemed to find it funny. Yet no one will bother to explain this petting thing. People pet pets, which is why its called petting in the first place. THAT makes sense. Nothing else does. *sigh* I give up. Maybe someone will tell me when I get older. If not, maybe it's best not to know anyway.

Well, it's time for me to go. Another two like me have been found, I can't wait to meet them, hope they're more like Miori, Hoshiko, and Daisuke....

Interestingly enough, something happened the other night. While I was leaving Bliss alone to practise her gymnastics, I found a very strange stone. The fact I knew the stone was jade set me immediately thinking. Jade isn't something you normally find on the beach. Granted there was once a gem trader whose ship sunk hundred of years ago. But I highly doubt he would have had access to jade. Especially purple jade.

The second I picked it up I knew exactly what it was. It gave me a feeling just as Bliss had when she was still a stone. That was not something I had planned on when I went for my walk. At least it was a good surprise. So it seems that I am going to have another child to look after soon.

When I returned to the lodge, Bliss was waiting with an expectant look on her face. I should have known that she knew exactly what was going to happen. The question with her is what doesn't she know.

I ended up letting her watch the jade for the night. Which gave me some time to run to Manda's library and research. It seemed like a good idea at the time, I hadn't thought to do that with Bliss, so now I can do so with jade, which I've also decided to name Valentine.

I finally have company! A soon to be little sister. I'm so excited. I can teach her everything I've learned. Maybe she'll listen to me unlike everyone else when it comes to nonviolence. I also get to play babysitter. It's not that hard since she doesn't do anything, not like human babies that scream and smell weird.
This is going to be great! So long as she doesn't end up like Daikenkai. That would be tradgic, but I'm sure with plenty of love she'll be just as loveable as a kitten. I don't think I can wait until she becomes a child, but my guardian told me patience is a virtue, so I will take that to heart and try to be as patient as possible.

Jade’s Colors

And they describe the psychic energy produced by Yellow and Orange varieties of as energizing and infused with the soothing power of sunshine.
Aztec
The Aztecs buried their dead with a Jade bead that would serve as the deceased’s heart as he or she traveled through the seventh trial on the way to Mictlan, the paradise reserved for most people.

Chinese
Jade, the most important gemstone in China appears numerous times in their mythology. The Chinese creation myth centers around a giant bird whose body became the natural elements of the Earth when he died. His semen and bone marrow became the Earth’s pearls and Jades. Yu-huang-shang-ti is the supreme god in ancient Chinese mythology. He is the Jade Emperor who runs the bureaucratic kingdom of the heavens. The Jade rabbit of Chinese myth lives in the moon, where he grinds Jade into an elixir that promotes immortality.
