So, are there any fans of Stargate SG-1 and/or Stargate Atlantis here?
I have the both series on DVD (well, except for the latest seasons which haven't been released on DVD yet). SG-1 was such a great show... it's a shame it was cancelled. sad Atlantis is good too... I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me pretty quickly. You gotta love McKay... xd

It is quite good. If you're into Sci-Fi, it's definitely worth checking out. 3nodding

SG-1 > Atlantis IMHO razz
But I'm so glad they are finishing up this last plot arc in SG-1 before it's gone for good. For awhile I thought they were going to end it on that last new episode (the dragon *gags* mad )

I loved the Stargate movie and I loved SG-1 for a while... then it got totally stupid. And Atlantis... just... ugh...
SG-1 started to go down the toilet when they killed off Daniel. He was such a hugely important character to the show, I don't know what they were thinking. I mean, without Daniel, there wouldn't even be a show because they never would have gotten back from the original mission! Then they went and brought him back to life which was giant mistake number 2. He was a totally different person after his revival. Not to mention the fact that bringing dead characters back to life just reeks of desperation.
It's such a shame it had to go out in the kind of ratings-greedy, downward spiral that leads to the inevitable oblivion of cancellation. Kinda reminds me of another favorite show of mine... The X-Files. But that's for another thread.
