School's out for summer.
Sora, Riku, Kairi, Selphie, Tidus and Wakka spend most of their time on the island. Whether they boys are playing blitzball and the girls are sitting on the beach gossiping or they're just sitting on their tree and watching the sun set [<-Sound familiar?], they are always together. Their worries are all forgotten like the summer school work: hidden under their bed, completely ignored, only to be remembered the day before school starts again.
Selphie and Kairi, being incredibly romantic girls, have begun noticing certain sparks flying between Sora and Riku since they got back from The World That Never Was. Tidus and Wakka, of course, are oblivios.
In any case...Selphie and Kairi both want Yaoi the best for their friends, so they're doing all that they can to get the two together. (Without doing anything drastic, of course.)

Sora sighed. He sat on that funky-lookin' tree and waited for his friends. Riku and Kairi were always laaate~!
"Well, maybe it is a bit early for the first day of summer vacation," he said to himself, "But, they'll get here soon enough~♥"
Sora put his hands on the back of his head in his signature pose and watched the early morning sun rise.

Sora's eyes seemed to brighten up as they fell upon his red-haired friend.
"KAIRI!" he exclaimed, jumping down from the tree to greet her. He hugged her tightly and whined, "What took you so looong?"
His innocent blue eyes scanned the area behind her and his face fell a bit when he didn't see the lovely silver hair he expected to be following her.
"W-where's...Riku?"

Riku lied down in his boat. Was he really going to do this? He was still shy of what friends he left behind in the Darkness. What was he to do?
...
Okay... Maybe he it wasn't such a dramatic reason. The boy shifted in his boat and grunted. He didn't want to start jumping around (even though some part of him did) the island when he only had about 2 hours of sleep. Sora had insisted the go to the island at the a**-crack of dawn for old times sake. Luckily for him, the cool morning air was a pleasant reminder of the fact that sleep around Sora was never an option...

"Huh? Well, I don't know. i think he's still in his boat!" She stated. She laughed. It was fun to finally be around these two boys. They were always so funny.

Sora's eyes widened innocently and he said, "R-really?"
He bounced over to the boat and, seeing Riku, pounced without thinking.
"Rik-aaaaah!" he shouted as the boat flipped over, pouring the both of them into the water.

Riku knew this was bound to happen. He just knew it... He groaned loudly and looked at his disgruntled friend below him. Wait... Below...
Riku jumped off of the other teen.
"S-sora! What did I tell you about jumping onto boats!" Riku scolded.
That should have thrust his mind away from thinking dirty things about his best friend... Heh. Thrust... Riku shook his head. Oy ve... This was gonna be a long day...

Sora shook his head much like a puppy would, not caring who he got wet.
"S-sorry, Riku..." he said at the scolding. "But, I mean, it's the first day of vacation! We've got to have fun!"
He swam rapidly over to the beach and rolled over onto his back in the sand.
"It's such a niiiice day."

Turning is head inquiringly, Sora asked, "What are you looking at, Riku?"
Hey, look- Riku's shirt was clinging to him because it was wet. Riku has a nice body, Sora noted. Was he staring? Oh, well. Sora didn't care.

Kairi giggled slightly. This was going to be perfect! She had to set some type of date for them...
"Hey, guys. Do you want to have lunch here? I brought some food!" She bounced slightly in place. She felt so much like a kid again!
