Many leagues, from the tavern reveals a dense forest of evergreens. Each covered in a powdery snow dust. The forest had been green many centuries ago, splotches of green grass and mosses survived under the protection of the evergreens, but only barely. On one side of the forest many leagues away is the tavern, but on the opposite side lays mountains. Treacherous and far away from civilization. Only a fool would dare climb. Past the mountains would be an abandon village, left in ruins after a plague disrupted the peaceful community.
Luna's small house laid around the foots steps of the mountains. It was shrouded from view by large evergreen trees, and a simple complex of large mountainous rocks. The forest was a death trap though. Snow covered up lakes with fragile thin ice coverings. One misstep could have led to one's misfortune.

Luna smiled as she waltz through the icy entrance of the forest. It was already night and the moon's light illuminated the freshly fallen snow on the trees a light blue shade. The ground sparkled like diamonds from the crystal sleet. All was quiet; no creature lived here...except her guardian bird of prey who lived in the mountains. It was an anathema to her now, since she left her home in the ocean. She despised everything that she had once loved. The water witch smiled as she remembered how beautiful this forest was...once full of life. Until she came upon the village with her disease and killed them all...but that was an accident. Then she wandered into this forest while the villagers plotted to burn her a live...or maybe dead too. She used her gifts and made this place what it was now. The thought of her powers made her smile with delight. Then she wandered what if a human did somehow stumble into her sanctuary...though the chances were slim. It could happen...
