i think its gone for good although they will likely return it in the future for lack of titles and main event matches get better ratings with titles involved normally.

They don't air on TV. Also, the Pure Title was like the red-headed stepchild of the titles. It was earned/lost in the most random and half-assed ways that they didn't know what to do with it.

I guess they could say something like Danielson had put the world title on the line, but hadn't put the pure title on the line, as he had won the pure title from Nigel.....but I don't think they need it anymore. Their feuds are good enough that they don't need a secondary singles title.

It was moreso a burden on booking than it was a help, and namely in the title's later days, the matches were subpar at best and often seen as the lowpoint of the card.

Floating Abstraction Their feuds are good enough that they don't need a secondary singles title. You know I think they might be bringing the FIP Title into ROH. Roderick Strong has been cutting promos about taking it to ROH so it will be more prestigious. He hasn't even defended the title in FIP yet but he's already defended it at three ROH events.
