The Official Fullmetal Alchemist Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa Thread. Discuss: Was the movie good or bad? Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch?

Was the movie good or bad? It was awesome.Beyond awesome. xd
Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Pretty much. The most important part is that Ed and Al are still together. 3nodding
Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? Why?Thier screen time was fine.More Ed on the screen is good enough for me.
Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). The part where Winry hugs Ed was really adorable. But Winry was hardly there for anytime. So I would have to go with Ed and Al Hierdrich.Yeah I know it's Yaoi. But Al really did love Ed in a way.
Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? Intresting and counfusing. But oh well. How could Hitler be in FMA though! gonk

Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? should have been a little bit more ed make fun of roy time! Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). my favorite pairing is Edward & Me! Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? how the atomic bomb came into play is good.

Was the movie good or bad? It was quite good, in my opinion. Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Not *all* of them, such as "will Ed ever get his original limbs back?", and it creates lots of new questions, such as "what happens now?" Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? That would have been nice. Seeing an Alter!Roy would have also been cool. Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). 'Twould have to be Alter!Hughes x Alter!Gracia. *shot* Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? It was... interesting. Didn't really like how Alter!Hughes was a Nazi, but I guess you can't have everything.
And I think that it opens itself up very well to a sequel. In fact, I hope they make a sequel. It's certainly popular enough that if it's money they'd be aiming to get from a sequel, they'd certainly get it, so why *not* make one? ^-^;;;

Was the movie good or bad? This is how I see it. It had an amazing plot, amazing voice actors (as always, yay Vic!), and of course the animation was amazing. The movie had very much potential. But the director got lazy. I wanted it to be amazing, but it just... wasn't. (Plus Ed and Al can't use alchemy anymore gonk Seriously, it would do Ed more justice to call him "The Fullmetal Nazi Slayer" now) Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Eh... sure, we'll go with that. (Though it was a better ending for the series) Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? I think they had enough time. We got to see alot of Ed and alot of Al and alot of the other Al, so that made me happy. Except all we really saw was Winry visiting peoples graves all the time and Roy being emo. That was kind of a bummer. I was very displeased with Ed leaving Winry though. That was a huge bummer for me. Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). AlfonsxEd. Best pairing. And I wish that WinryxEd could have happened... but it didn't. Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? I thought it was, like I said, a very good plot. I liked it. It was a good idea, and I think it would of worked better if they had a better director.
[/edit] Did anyone else think it was really weird at the end that Alphonse ended up cutting his hair just like Heidrich's? O.o

Was the movie good or bad? It was pretty good, not as good as the manga, but good nontheless. Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? It did, but it rose new questions, like how did Ed get across the gate when it was said in the TV series that you can't once your body and soul get stuck. And why did Al have that ability to control the suit of armors with just his soul? Plotholes, gotta love them. Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? Yes! So should have Riza! It should have had Royai! Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). Ed x Heidrich, I just don't see anything b/w Ed & Noa besides the fact that she molested him in bed. But the part with Ed & Winry was sweet. Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? I thought it was, since History is one of my favorite subjects in school, when we watched the movie in school and Hitler appeared, Everyone started laughing and pointing and saying Hey look! It's Hitler!!! xD

Was the movie good or bad? I liked it, but I would've liked a bit more logic behind some of the things. It seems like they were just like, "Yeah, and so Eckhart will go through the Gate and...um.." "Oh OH OH!! Make her get attacked by the Gate Babies!!" "YES, that's genius. The fans will never spot the lack of logic in THAT!"
Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? No, but I didn't expect it to.
Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? I think there needed to be a scene where Alfons gets nekkid and wet, specially for me. biggrin *Heid fangirl*
Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). You know what I'm gonna say, right? Scottscoon/Heiderich!! :3 Um, but seriously...Roy/Riza all the way, man. Or maybe Hitler/Haushofer...
Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? Yes yes, I loved going, "OMG I KNEW THAT!!" every couple minutes.

Was the movie good or bad? It was so-so. It seems like they wanted to quickly tie up all the loose ends and then and then try too hard to slap it together and make it look good. Where was the logic? The art was gorgeous, however.
.. No seriously. It was on crack with a dash of emo. Anyone esle but me read that "FMA Movie in 5 Seconds Summary"? I swear, that thing was dead on.
Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Most, but in the process, it created more. @_@
Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? YES. YES, THEY SHOULD HAVE. Gawd, please, less Noah. gonk
Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). ... EdxWin, EdxHeid
Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? Yep! It sure helped me remember stuff for my German test in Exploring Languages. I got a 100. : D

Was the movie good or bad? It was full of amazingness
Did it answer all of the questions left from the end of the series? Pretty much.Ed and Al are together so that's good, but it introduced more questions. What's going to happen with that uranium bomb *prays for second movie*
Should Roy, Winry and the original gang have gotten more screen time? It would have been kinda kewl for some of them too. I would have liked to see Al and Roy interact more, i think it would have been kewl
Favorite movie pairing (or pairing with characters from the movie). I Mustang and Ed for that small moment they are together. It's a memory spurring moment! and you know on the inside they care for each other lol
Was the historical info/characters an interesting touch? it definatly was. There actually could have been something like the thaule (spelling?) society. Hitler was into ancient legends and stuff. Indiana Jones and the lost ark or w/e, I'm pretty sure Hitler actually did that stuff. He was a little off his rocker.................
