Ok everyone, Im going to give text based RPGs a shot and try out my new DBZ game. The basic premise for it (if your familiar with the series) is that it is currently 300 years before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, during the good old days when the Saiyans really were the strongest in the universe.
Players will take on the roles of either Saiyans, or as other alien space mercenaries bent on destroying others for their own personal gain. Although it is possible for you to play as a "good" character, most characters should be evil or neutral. Ill get in to the main story and all that other good stuff after I get around five or so players. Fill out the character sheet below using the rules posted aferwards.

Rules

On character creation, you have to grab a six sided die and roll for each stat (no cheating). After calculating all of your stats (Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Ki, Form, Calm, Technical), add all of those number up and multiply that number by 10 and you will get your characters Power Level.
After you have got that figured out, move on to the skills you want your character to have, which can be anything you can think of that might be useful for a space mercenary to have. xp
When you are finished with that, choose a race. Most players will probably want to be Saiyans because they get quite a bit of powerful Racial Abilities, but others of you might want to make your own race, which is fine to. The way this will work is I will now post a few sample Racial Abilities for a few races for you to look at, and if you make your own race, just make up any abilities you can think of and Ill go through and either ok them or deny them.

Ok, heres all the Racial Abilities for a Saiyan character:
Oozaru Transformation (Great Ape): Requires tail to use. During a full moon, character transforms into a huge ape creature. All stats increase by by three times, and power level increases by X10 normal.
Battle Power: If the Saiyan is beaten terribly badly and lives, they will gain Experience based on how much they lost.
Dont worry about Super Saiyans yet, youll find out sooner or later how you can transform in to one.
As for aliens, once again, just make the abilities yourself. You can have up to three racial abilities.
I will personally give you Ki Powers and Melee Powers.

(Screw this, lets start playing and more will join later. The way the game is played is everyone makes a post within the designated episode. I will keep track of when episodes begin and when they end. Right before you post anything, write down the power level of your character, the characters name that is being used, and any information on what is currently happening to them. Ill show you how to do combat later on as well.)
Episode One: The Stars Ablaze
Character: Carmenia
Power Level: 320
Information: En route to unidentified Planet #3278 for scouting and possible elimination of species.
The endless black of space seemed to go on forever, the only things changing the darkness and making them seem remotely living was the twinkling of the stars that flooded it. Thousands of chunks of frozen rock, the remains of planets lost long ago, floated aimlessly on their random course for all eternity, never being disturbed for as long as time could tell.
Out from this quiet came the irridescent glow of a spacecraft. A small spherical device, the vessel was a self-contained hibernative piece of engineering, capable of transporting a single individual over a span of up to two hundred years if need be. While inside the craft, the tenant was fed nutriets through the act of a spray on mist that simply soaked into the skin and fed cells that made the body up. While they traveled in this way, the tenants of these vessels dreamed about one thing: Their current mission and their commision.
The identity of this particular craft was "Dropship 7200", owned and operated by the House of Tenarri, a branch of nobility for the Saiyan race. The House of Tenarri owned and operated dozens of star systems which they of course took by force from the original owners. They were responsible for the training of a high percentage of the warriors that the Royal Family used as personal body guards and retainers, and seldom were they ever sent out like the other grunts on missions to eradicate civilizations. This of course, was a special case, and the mission was simply: Annihilate all beings on the targeted planet and give word for a terraforming team to come in and set up shop.
This was the mission of the reluctant pilot of the ship, a young teenage Saiyan female by the name of Carmenia Tenarri. Since she was able to talk and form simple words she was taught how to kill others, and as her skills honed and she grew stronger, the House council had decided to use her as a sort of "secret agent", or rather "recon advisor" for the rest of the Tenarri forces. It was her job now to land on the planet and record all forms of life that posed a threat, destroy them if necessary, and then return home.
As she flew through space these images came to her in her dreams, and she subconsciously smiled and chuckled at the thought of the chaos she was going to create.
Unknown to her at that time since she was hibernating, the planet she was heading towards was a planet of pirates and rogues who were made up of many relatively strong warriors from a myriad of different races.
(Thats the first post. Please at least go along with the storyline. If you are a Saiyan character, you are heading towards the planrt as well, if not, and you are an alien, you are a pirate or outlaw on the planet itself. Post with as much detail as you can, and feel free to add things to the game to give it more "flavor")

((Bill I don't really want to be a pirate/rogue, and I had an idea for my character while I was reading the first post about Carmenia. Let me know what you think when you read this and if you don't like it, I'll edit my post))
Episode One: The Stars Ablaze

Information: Completion of prototype terraforming robot, "Terran"
Tal was busy at work in his lab. Sparks flew as he jolted the control panel of his most recent creation with electricity. A door of his lab slid open. In walked a man. No, a legend. Lord Tenarri, head of the Tenarri household. The man responsible for the recent uprising in skilled warriors that were spreading faster than ever before in Saiyan history. His tail twitched slightly back and forth as he entered the room and came face-to-face with Tal. "Lo...Lord Tenarri!" Tal stammered. Tenarri's expression didn't soften at all. "Tal... I trust that everything is going well with your little... projects." His lip curled on the word 'projects' and his voice dripped with snide hatred. "Yes... Yes, Sir. The new terraforming robots will be ready. I have advanced their design and enhanced the tools they use to make them seven times more efficient than the ones used recently on Planet #3224. I call them 'Terrans.' I thought it fitted them..." "ENOUGH! I haven't time for you insolent banter, you mechanical fool." Lord Tenarri roared. He spun on his heel, whipping his cape in Tal's face, and left the room. Tal turned back to his table, head down. He slammed his fist into the table, leaving a neat dent in its metal surface. He talked silently in his head. 'Dammit! Why must this always happen! I must make more progress. I don't want to end up like my creator...'
~Flashback!~
::Blurry Scene, Tal standing in the corner holding a vial, eyes wide in horror, and Lord Tenarri holding a man by the throat. A Saiyan man, but a weaker-looking one. He donned, not the armor of a Saiyan warrior, but the normal clothes that most scientists wore::
Lord Tenarri. "How long must I endure your failures? I sometimes think that the worthless robot you've created can do more than you! How long will you make me wait before the chemical weapons are complete?" The man gasped and tried talking as best he could. "Lo... Lord Tena...rri... I can't complete these weapons! They... they just can't be done. I... refuse to help you in chemical war...fare...." Tenarri draws back his hand and does a clean cross-chop across the man's neck. A flash of light, and the man's head goes sliding to the ground. Lord Tenarri points a finger at Tal. "You... Congratulations. You're the new head scientist in this facility. Don't fail me." He walks out of the room.
~End Flashback, cut back to Tal standing at the table, his fist shaking in the dent it made~
'Damn him!... Someday, Tenarri... someday...' Tal thought to himself. 'Well... I have to get back to work on these. They must be ready before Carmenia reports back with news on Planet #3278. I have to go to the planet and ensure their productivity, while serving as guard for all those involved. Tch! A job even a monkey could do.' Tal laughed at himself. He hadn't intended the pun.

Episode One: The Stars Ablaze

Information: Within visual range of Planet #3278.
The glowing sphere of light followed by the enrgy jet stream suddenyl stopped all motion directly in the middle of a small asteroid belt. The drives shutting off, the glowing light blue energy of the dropship slowly waned and ceased to exist, its chargers shutting down in preparation for recharge. Outside at the ships hull, small and large pieces of rock alike exploded when they went within ten meters of the craft, deatomizing from the protective forcefields that surrounded the pod, a rather interesting invention from Head Scientist Tal back home. Not too far from the small belt of asteroids lay a large planet that shone through the solar system as a brilliant red and orange hue.
The hibernation mist slowly died down and emptied itself from the cockpit, and within four minutes Carmenia began to move, her smooth legs shaking a bit as her magnificent eyes slowly opened and began to survey the scene. Most people who have had their first hibernation sleep awaken and cant remember where they were going, and on some occasions, who they were. Carmenia, however, had been through so many training exercises and mock landings that even with her light headedness she instantly woke up and began going to work. Pushing buttons on her touch-screen monitor, she brought up the statistics of the planet to make sure it was indeed the one she had been sent to.
As the monitor made a neat noise signalling that she had reached her destination, Carmenia smiled slightly and grabbed her scouter, attaching it into place around her left ear and setting the piece of equipment on so that she could read any possible enemies.
Down on the planet below, noone knew what was going on, but they would soon find out the hard way.

Information: Meditating
The air was quiet and serene, I floated above a brook meditating. I concentrated on my breaths and quited my mind. I floated there very peacefully. I enjoyed my morning meditations it made the rest of the day easier some how. I concetrated on my nothingness the void insdide of me, that torrent of pain and troubles. My mind started to delve in to it but I tried to force my mind from it, I didn't want to have to think about I didn't want the pain. Suddenly my mind flashed back to when I was a child.
My dad and I were harvesting some bean root. It was a clear sky day and beautiful weather. We picked up the bails of bean root and headed for our village. We were talking and laughing a beautiful day to be alive. We were kidding about mom's cooking, I asked him how he managed to marry the worst cook in the village, but he didn't answer, still laughing a little I turned and saw men holding my dad down. They had tails like that of an ape and armor. My dad reached out toward me "run wrench save your self from the saiyans!!" Just as he finished, another one of them walked toward him. My dad screamed "Tenarri you'll never get away with this!!" The man smiled ruthlessly " oh contraire(sp?)? He blow my dad apart their was no possible way for him to regenerate. I froze in horror as my dad layed lifeless. One of the two that was holding my dad dropped him and spit on him. I snapped out of it, "you'll pay for what you've done!!!!" The man sneered "we're saiyans, you don't even deserve to breathe around us." I didn't even blink, but I couldn't even see his movement. The pain in my stomach rocketed through my body. I fell to my knees gasping for air and puking. The man sneered again, "hey Tenarri what should we do with him?"
"kill him."
He started walking toward me, I jumped to my feet and made a fist, "I'll kill you!!!!"
I ran toward him and swung, but he was already behind me and knocked me flat. I coughed up a little blood and struggled to my feet.
"I will get my revenge on you even if it takes my life."
The saiyan laughed
I gritted my teeth and ran again toward him. He went to kick me and with all that I was I wanted to dodge it becuase I knew it would be the end for me. I jumped a little and flew around the attack and punched him in the face. He actually stumbled back a little. I dropped to my feet and stood in amazement, that was the first time I ever flew. The saiyan looked pissed He grasped me by my throat and put his hand out to finish me. I noticed blood trickling from his lip.
Tennarri said "stop! The kid has heart, wouldn't it be even better to have him serve under us. Hahahaha oh what irony, but he'll learn, there's nothing he can do. Lte his haterd be his strength to serve me."
I was put in a shuttle prison hovering over the village, I kicked and screamed, but to no avail I was too WEAK. I watched as everything was reduced to ash. My mom was takin prisoner, they asked about some rebellion. My mom knew nothing, even after the weeks of torture. I think they knew she knew nothing but did it anyway.
My mom was being taken out of her cell one day and she broke free of the guards, she ran to my cell. She put her body against the window an dcried to me that she loved me and she would always be with me, she was almost unrecognizable she had been tortured so bad. I rushed to the window and we tried to touch even with the window in our way. We locked eyes. Her stare was loving and suddnly her eyes blew wide open, her mouth went agape. Behing her a saiyan had stuck a sword through her head. I cried for her as her lifeless body was drug away. I swore to my father and mother that I would destroy all saiyans. I would have my revenge.
It had been 10 years since the day my father died and I was taken captive.
I trained harder than ant peer around me. I stayed alive with the one burning oath in my mind. I was trained by the people I hated, I lived with the people I hated. I wanted to kill Tennarri more than anything, he had ordered that attack. All I wanted was ro be strong enough to defeat him.
I snapped out of my meditation burning with anger, there was no peace in my heart. I had been sent on an assignment by Tenarri to survey the flora on the planet, since I knew alot about that stuff. I walked to the country side fully consumed with the thoughts of that fatefull day.

Episode One: The Stars Ablaze
Character: Carmenia
Power Level: 320
Information: Landing in a secluded area on target planet.
The surface of Planet #3278 was a honeycomb of strange green rock formations and crystal clear lakes of ammonia. Even if it was relatively worthless in its current form, Tenarri scientists have made predictions that once terraformed it could be used a very defensible military position, something that was necessary in the next couple of years, considering what Lord Tenarri wished to do in those few years.
Having scanned the surface, Carmenia found what she thought was an excellent spot to land, away from any prying eyes. She set down on the overhanging cliff of one of the honeycomb mountains, the vapor being thrown up from her landing sending thousands of shards of rock into all directions. After it had shut down all of its sytems, Carmenia yawned and stretched for a moment, then hit the release button, which opened the hatch and released her safety harness. Before she did so, she quickly reached to the emergency aid kit and brought out a filtration mask, putting it over her nose and mouth. The device would instantly clean the air and allow her to breathe normally, another amazing invention from Dr. Tal back home. Too bad they couldnt make a larger version of it with some alterations, because if they could, the planet would be terraformed in no time.
With her mask on, Carmenia hopped out of the dropship on one knee and instantly began to scan the area using her scouter. The scouter ticked through its cycles and as it did Carmenia's eyes began to narrow. "Great." she said quietly to herself, "so much for a clean landing." The scouter finished its scan and told Carmenia that not only were there two power readings nearby, but they were hurriedly moving to her current position. "Oh well, I could use a little play time."
As she took to her feet, the two pirates ran through the open cavern that was attached to the cliff and revealed themselves to her. One of the aliens was a Karn, a humanoid creature with a bull-like head. The other was a Dor'Malik, a frog-creature that was dwarfed by Carmenia's height. Both pirates wore thermal jumpsuits that were black in color (which protected them from extreme cold, although Carmenia couldnt tell the difference from here and her summer home), and scouters, obviously stolen.
Carmenia: "Im impressed, you misfits actually have the goods to tell when your doom is arriving."
Frog-Face: laughing with croaks "Thats a good one baby, you might say we so called MISFITS have upgraded over these years."
Bull-head: "We read your power rating, you might as well give yourself up, your no match for us."
Carmenia cracked a smile and began to unleash her energy, electrical bolts of ki surging around her curves as she stood before the pirates.
Carmenia: "How about I let you two in on a little secret, my pod's been modified with level dampening fields. Why the hell would my superiors send in a level 5 warrior? You guys really HAVNT gotten smarter afterall!"
(When a battle starts, simply make the introduction to the scene, explain the enemies involved, and then post your three actions in order for what you will do. I will then post their actions for you as well as tell you if you succeed or not based on rolls that I make. Here is an example smile
Battle!

Enemies: 2 Pirates

Episode One: The Stars Ablaze

Information: Readying for action on Plantet #3278
Tal gathered the last of his things. He glanced longingly at a personal invention he'd been working on for self-betterment. A small energy absorbtion device that would allow him to absorb the Ki attacks thrown at him by others and therefore replenish his own Ki. He left and entered the room of teleportation devices. The teleportation devices he had constructed would only work for him, they wouldn't work for anyone without android components. It worked by breaking apart the robotic pieces and sending them faster than light through space. Any normal biological being would just be obliterated. The process to get to the planet would take all of 20 seconds. The room was lined with small pods. They looked like Cryogenic Freezing Tubes. Tal got in one as some Saiyan servants loaded the new terraforming robots into each of the matching tubes. Tal pressed a button on his tube. It lit with an irridescent blue light. Suddenly, Tal was vaguely aware that he was moving through space with blinding speed. He couldn't "see" persay, it was just... a feeling... and yet he felt nothing at all, like he was a floating soul with no body and no physical appearance.
~Meanwhile, on Planet #3278~
Carmenia charged her attack. A red blip appeared on her pod, and a small protrusion burst from the pod. It glowed with the same irridescent glow of the tube, and Tal materialized there beside the pod. He took a second to gather his surroundings and watched the battle ensue.
Battle!
Character: Tal
Enemies: 2 Pirates
Actions:
1. Sit in a cross-legged fashion
2. Scan the enemies for power levels and any other info
3. Remain aware to take defensive action in case of attack

Information: Battle between two Pirates on Planet #3278
(Carmenia: Action 1- Failed)
Carmenia noticed the new reading on her scouter and smirked and rolled her eyes she recognized who it was. Although she knew that the dropship would repel the explosion, she didnt know about Tal, since neither of them ever sparred before. She didnt want to harm her newly arrived ally, so instead she slowly changed her course of action and used the increased power as a boost and surged forward towards the pirates.
(Tal: Actions 1-2 - Pass)
Tal smiled as he saw the familiar a** of Carmenia, a woman who even though was Saiyan, had enough heart to treat him right in the past, and had become a sort of friend during the past year or so. As she powered up for her attack, Tal's inner scanner began tracing her energy signatures as well as the enemies in front of her. Her power reached her maximum of 320, but since she was going to use a powerful Ki attack, it skyrocketed to nearly double, reaching around 640. The pirates nearby had small levels, the frog-face one having a small level of 125, while the other had a slightly larger one of 200. If Carmenia was going to hit them with her energy attack, Tals bets would be that the two pirates were about to have a really bad day.
He continued to sit on the top of the dropship and watched the action unfold.
(Carmenia: Action 2 -Pass)
With her newly acquired boost of energy, Carmenia rushed forward, nearly vanishing from sight. The two pirates, not being able to see her, but being able to read the heightened power reading on their scouters, began to panic, their eyes becoming as large as saucers and their mouths dropping open from underneath their primitive breathing apparatuses. They were too slow, however, and Carmenia came between them and slammed into each of their throats with her arms in a devastating clothesline. (Damage= PL 640 + 12)
The frog aliens head was removed from his body, spraying green blood all over the rocky formation behind him. His lifeless body fell from the cliff and plummeted hundreds of feet below and into the mirrored lake of ammonia below. The bull-headed alien was slightly luckier and managed to duck, the only damage he sustained with his horns on his head shattered, his scouter exploded from the sudden overload of Ki, and his breathing apparatus malfunctioned and died.
He fell to the ground and began to gag and choke, the atmosphere of the planet getting to him.
(Carmenia: Action 3 - cancelled)
Instead of running through the cavern ahead of her, Carmenia instead turned and powered down to her normal level and looked at Tal, folding her arms across her chest and watching the alien pirate slowly die from asphexiation.
