So, it's about time we had one of these and I'm hoping it will build up a little guild interest.
What is this contest?
Well basically it will be a contest where your task is to write a piece of fiction along a certain theme and in a certain amount of words. It is a contest, so there will be a winner, and a prize.
The prize
Having talking to a few people, I decided to offer three of the new Dec 06 letters as the prize, enough to have one of each item plus 50k in gold. They seem to be a little more expensive than previous letters and also seem to be rather popular so I thought they would be an appropriate prize.
Word Count
I have decided that the final submissions for this contest should be stories between 5,000 and 10,000 words in length.
The Theme
The theme of this contest will be: New Years Resolutions.
What does this mean?
This means that, ultimately, you will produce a piece of fiction between 5k and 10k words in length along the theme of New Year's Resolutions. It can be anything to do with this theme, any genre of story, you are given free reign to produce any kind of story you want.
Dates of the contest:
Start:20.12.06
End: 20.2.07

Questions should be sent to me.
