Ice Cream: not as expensive as gelato but lacks in taste/quality when in comparison
Gelato: an Italian ice cream that is unbelievably tasty and creamy, but more expensive than ice cream. It also has less fat!

I chose gelato because it is just 11 times better than ice cream in many ways!! If you have ever eaten it, you know what I mean. If you haven't: do it!!
It will change your life eek ...

I always do wonder why zombies say Brains... brains.. Compared to brains and ice cream, Gelatos are awesome. We need more Italian Gelato loving zombies. Or just people who get to try gelatos more. More cost, but the flavor is far better than the expense. For me it lasts longer too.

it does, because if you eat too much at once, you freak out. Or at least I do. And zombies are terrifying to me, whether they eat gelato, brains, or ice cream lol. In fact, my guy friends at school immitate zombies and reach for me just to get me to yell at them in the middle of class. Then I pretend to cry and they get in trouble! razz
Serves them right....
Wow! That is really off topic.

My husband and I had Gelato in Italy and I have loved it ever since - of course their chocolate and yogurt were not as good as the Swiss - but the swiss cheese is not very good either - am I off topic enough? ninja

I voted icecream because I know what it is. If Dippin' Dots were on there though I would vote for them. They are the ice cream of the future you know.

I can't remember if I ever had gelato but I am not sure. I voted for it cuz I'd like to try it. That and it sounds much better than plain old ice cream.

I was just wondering what was really different about the two. I found this bit on Wikipedia...
Gelato is served from a different freezer than American style ice cream—a forced air freezer—which is usually held at about -15°C (0–6°F). This allows the gelato to be served immediately after being extruded from the gelato machine—the "forced air" blowing around holds the product at a consistent temperature. The best gelato is made fresh daily. Much of the gelato experience lies in its semi-frozen consistency, therefore, you may serve ice cream from a gelato freezer but you may not serve gelato from an ice cream freezer; the gelato would become too frozen.

It was a little more like a slushy - but it was the fresh fruit taste that made me love it!

Slushy eh? Well they are pretty good. A "real fruit" slushy is a little above the local 7-11 though.
