I'm Dylan and I have several Poetry Alias' Alias #1: Dylan Farr Alias #2: Dylan Patrick Farr Alias #3: Patrick Hamilton (Pen Name) Alias #4: JesusSeeker48103 Poem Title: Untitled (open for suggestions) Written By: Me (of course, lol)
Your "GOD" has forsaken me
Satan refuses entry into hell for me
The only places left for me are the earth or oblivion
A black sun sets on the day of my funeral
I watch them lower my casket in the ground, I try to tell everyone "I'm not dead", but my cries fall upon deaf ears
As my coffin is covered in dirt, my spirit starts to disappear
I finally realize I I made my decision long before I was born
I choose oblivion!
I may be lonely, I may be miserable, but when I float in in that dark abyss, I will finally feel a strange sense of peace

Wow, I like it. It just has a tone of despair mixed with relief and peace.

loslover Wow, I like it. It just has a tone of despair mixed with relief and peace. I agree. I like it, though I'd love to have a better perception of your style. Post more soon, then I can form an opinion on your poetry. Most likely, I'll like it all anyway, but sweatdrop ...you know what I mean.

A view that has a semblance of respite there at the end. Like a sigh of relief after a struggle. enjoyed!

Title: Life Of A High Functioning Autistic Boy Author: Dylan Farr
This face is scared with claw marks.
While this soul is tattered and torn.
Trying to find a reason to live.
To go on with this lie I live.
Trying to act normal when I'm not.
My mind is being torn to pieces.
Running my fingers across the cuts on my arms.
Inflicted when I used to love self-harm.
Life is a big mystery.
Trying to figure it out is sucking the life out of me.
Another day ends while another one begins.
One day my life will end and someone elses will begin.

Well, the first seems like an Ode to Atheism and the second seems like an Ode to Emo, but appart from your token use of teen social fads, you have a lot of talent. I like your work.

I like your work. whats funny about your statement is that I'm in no social groups at all, lol Well, no, I meant that it more just follows the patterns of those ideas. Those ideas just happen to be token teen fads among certain social groups. I found it amusing how they fit so perfectly.

For me at least, the ability to write from other perspectives in poetry is fairly difficult. I commend your ability to do that so well.

The Autistic write captures the emotions of troubled souls quite well, although it was difficult to read with the strikeout of the font. Other than that, it was pretty good 3nodding

you seem to be extremely opinionated in your work and you seem stubborn judging by the fact that you never let the main point go....I may be way off so please take no offense.

I take no offense when other people review my work, I actually use what people have said to improve my work, I like people's opinions

I pulled out my folder olf my poetry, this is a little of My Older Work, I hope you like it, I wrote it in the Psychiatric Ward Title: I Won't Let Them In They force me into a place I don't want to be
They force me into situations that piss me off
They piss me off so they can keep me here
They keep me here so they can get inside my head
I won't let them in
I won't let them understand
I won't let them cure
I won't let them in my god forsaken soul
I won't let them in
If they try to get in I will fight them
I will hurt them
I will defend myself
I will defend my mind
I will defend my soul
I won't let them in
