I'm liking Final Fantasy 12 too much. The Gambit system allows me to play the game will I just push the analog and read a book or FAQ because I miss a lot.
Well anyway my point is, I can steal the lazy way. I was wondering if anyone had played the game and had a good setup for stealling. Currently, I have it set as the foe with 100% health. Which isn't bad if the person stealling is the lead character, or if I watch the top of the screen and ignore all else to see if I stole the item. Maybe I'm jsut lazy, but maybe there is an easier way at doing this too. Any ideas?

I don't think there's an easier or quicker way to steal, but I think what's important is how you set up the gambits.
I think it's easier to have the gambit to steal from enemy to be second priority to attack the leader's target, so that way, I don't have my character(s) wasting actions.
I guess an easier way to speed up stealing is to spend LP on the Swiftness...grid, cause that really does cut down on action time, especially when you get a whole bunch of them.

Well, I'm almostly finished with the game. I have 93 hours of game play and all of the top of the LP board done for all characters. So, I was just tring to see if there was a way to steal easier. I like to get items first then fight, so I have one person stealing and the other two attacking.
I had tried putting Foe: Any = steal, to see if it worked like, Ally: Any = Esuna, but it didn't seem so.
I wish they had a gambit for, Foe: item. sweatdrop

I suggest you just make a gambit that is something like "Foe: Party leader's target/Steal" and just turn it off when you've stolen the item. Set it below your healing gambits to ensure that your party members won't keep stealing until they die.

Well having it set to Foe: 100% well allow it to steal till it's hit.

I dunno, but I think it's a lot easier to have the gambit for stealing "foe with HP equal or greater to 70%" under attacking the party target leader - They automatically start stealing whenever I come across and enemy, stop when I start the fighting myself.

In that case it will be easiest to just to leave it as it is. I'll just keep track of if he stole from the foe or not and make sure I get someone to hit it so he doesn't keep stealing.
