Ankari ArtANKARI'S HISTORY:
Ankari Del Shierro is a princess. Well, she was a princess at least. Her home country of Linthia was destroyed when they supposedly broke the peace treaty with the larger country of Vivet. It was claimed that a Linthian assassin was found later in the castle after the King was killed with poisoned wine. The small country's fortifications were broken by the superior might and tactics of the new King of Vivet, Prince Stark. Before they knew it, the siege was taken to the palace. Ankari was a normal princess. At this time, she was 8. She was beautiful, clever and as vindictive as her mother. But when the Vivet forces suddenly attacked at night, Ankari was one of the only survivors. When the captain of the force came to her, she was made witness to her parents' deaths and spared, banished from her throne. A princess tossed from her throne, she wandered the lands, cold and hungry. Eventually she met support and healed. Ankari is missing an arm, yes, this is a wound from the day the palace was destroyed. From this day, she vowed to become stronger, maybe even take back her rightful kingdom. Ankari started to work harder and soon pleaded at the knees of a war veteran to teach her the way of the sword. And now she wanders the lands as a mercenary for hire, those who doubt her soon regret it. She still has promised herself she will oneday take back the throne but when is unsure.
HER PERSONALITY:
When she was young, Ankari was backstabbing and cunning due to being raised by Queen Elleen the II. Linthians are known for their wits and Elleen was a great example of a Queen. Once however, her life was spared and she was banished from the kingdom, she lost that. She became rash, strong however she kept her famous short-temper. Although it is thought this was a good transformation, Ankari has her faults. She is stubborn and prideful and cannot stand keeping quiet when others are being lied to or hurt. She acts before thinking and often has trouble believing whether she'd still be a good queen.
ANKARI'S SECRET:
Ankari has a dark secret she has kept away for years now. The sword she later wields is sucking her life away. Ankari never tells anybody about this because she hates it when people worry about her. This legendary sword supposedly wielded by the great hero, Greta, is cursed with it's power.
HER DEEPEST FEAR:
Ankari's greatest fear is to be killed without being remembered. To fight on the battlefield and die for nothing. Ankari is afraid of dying anyway. She wants to avenge her parents and take back her kingdom but deep down she has doubts about that, too. Why was she spared? It's a nightmare she constantly has. And although people pep talk her, it takes deeper things to affect Ankari. She now thinks with her transformation, she would not make a good queen.
HER FAMILY:
King Darone the XI. A silent and old man. He was constantly worried about the status of his kingdom as it fell into disrepair. He spent many of his younger years forging peace between Linthia and Vivet. His dying words were: "The Aerie will fly once more." The Aerie is a fantasy creature, a blue bird with white streaks and a long beak. The Linthian flag is an Aerie so basically he's saying, "The Linthians will be back."
Queen Elleen the II. A backstabbing, cunning and beautiful woman. She was only married to Darone because it was arranged. She is of natural Arian blood (different country). She spent much of her time teaching Ankari how to follow in her footsteps and become just as successful. When she died she called them 'serpents' a foul, Linthian word as sea serpents disrupt the island community frequently.
Prince Remburt the VII. The oldest sibling of the bunch, Remburt was brave, strong and handsome. No one knows whether Remburt or any of the other siblings survived the attack. He is 21.
Prince Leono the IV. The second youngest. Ankari's younger brother, he had fair hair and his father's love of peace. Even if he was a bit cowardly, he and Remburt had a strong relationship where they would help each other study. Like Remburt, it is not confirmed whether he survived. He is 16.
Princess Papriella the I. The youngest sibling of them all, she is precious, meek and adorable. Papriella is frequently just called Ella by her fellow siblings. It is confirmed she survived but with a brutal eye wound. Although she is alive, Papriella's whereabouts are unknown. She is 13.
