In the western part of Maine, near the mountains and valleys, lays a building of some sort. The structure of it is so unusual that upon first glance one can hardly believe that it is indeed a building. For the thing, in its entirety, is built into the cliff of the highest mountain in the area, its dark stone walls blending perfectly with the stone in the cliffside. The only reason the building is even noticeable, is the fact that behind the French-styled glass windows yellow lights glow softly.

It is this structure that serves as housing for Arbington Academy's students and teachers. For the past fifty centuries students and teachers have walked down its marble hallways, either hurrying to class or to teach a class. Photographs of old headmasters and headmistresses line these hallways, their soft smiles meant as an encouragement for both teachers and students alike to do their best. For its the academy's strong emphasize on having honor and pride in the things that one accomplishes or performs that make the school such an envied place to have one's child attend.

For as long as the school has been opened only one hundred students have attended its rigorous courses. Some say that the lack of students is due to the fact that people are not willing to send their children to such a secluded and distant place to learn. Yet, others say that the lack of students is due to the fact that the students who attend are hardly normal and in fact not even human. Years of these hushed rumors has lead the school into accepting ten completely new students onto its premises. However will their acceptance show that Arbington's students are perfectly normal or will it show that they're perfectly dead?

Leon walks the halls of the school looking around for any students roaming the halls, although he did not go here but he came to help with everyone else. his long hair draging along the halls

(Hey I wanna be a new student please ^_^)

She walked in the huge doors and looked around, "Hmmm....." She made a noise looking around as if she didn't know where she was going. Then again she didn't, this was only her second time in this school because of when she looked at it a few weeks ago before actually attending it. She stopped to look around and wondered if anybody that would be nice was there, it hardly appeared to have many students, but that is what she liked about the place. She could relax and be a bit more comfortable here.

Leon walked the halls looking for all forms of life. He saw many new students and had forgetten what is was like. He had been going to this school along time now, he was young-er when he first came here, but it was to long to remember. "any one new?" he asked to no one in perticular. He liked to help the newer students, they would be easier to turn onto his side later. He did not like the school, but it was where he could practice his powers and pick on the younger students.

Leon's first class was vampiric history. His favorite. He got to class eairly like he always did. He sat in the back right corner. The room was bleak, white with windows. He hated the light, not because it hurt him, he just hated it. He brought unwanted shadows to the room to make it dark again. "Leon what do you think you're doing?" the teacher asked him. He just looked at him, Mr. Conor, and stared back at his desk, eyes turning white. Eventually class started and students started to enter. "i wonder who i have in the class" he said to alex ((the shadow demon that lives in his head)) But alex just wanted to know when it would be over. So now he waited, wondering what new students would enter.

[rune made her way around the empty school, it;s eerie aura sending chills down her spine.]

Rune: hm. well. at least it's better then...the house i live in
