So since this guild is still in its early stages, I decided to hold a guild invite competition- a small contest to hopefully increase the size of the guild and really get things going.
The point of this competition is simple - to invite the most members to the guild, but there must be a few rules when doing so.
The rules
- Do not invite any old person. Only invite people who have an interest in writing.
- Do not invite noobs/immature people. I would like this guild to have a certain intellectual level, and I don't want people that are going to come in here and flame the topics they don't like and generally annoy people.
- Do not invite people who will never post. I'd like to have members who are really interested in the guild subject, and I'd just love for this guild to get big with members that really want to be here.
Now, rules aside, you may be wondering what you'll be getting for winning this contest. I have decided the winner will receive a prize of 50k, paid for by me.
We will be accepting guild donations, if anyone wants to give money for future competition prizes. Donations should be sent to me directly, not paid into the guild account as I'm unable to access this.
How to enter
This is simple. Simply post in this thread and let me know you're going to enter. Then, after that, keep note of how many people you have invited to the guild and let me know. You can invite them by simple giving them a link to the guild, either as a written link or in banner form. Banners can be found on the main guild page. I will be asking for a list of names of people you've invited, submitted to me by Dec 31st, so keep track of who you ask. I will only count members who actually join the guild.
The person who has invited the most members who make at least one post in the guild by the time the contest is over wins.
Contest Start Date - 17th December 2006
Contest End Date - 31st December 2006
