Alright. So everyone has asked, or at some point been asked the question "what game has the best music?" But I want something more out of it... I want to know...
1. Best Battle Music
2. Best Boss Music
3. Best Character Theme
4. Best Main Villain Theme
5. Best World Map Theme
6. Best Town Music
7. Best "Oops, we destroyed something" Music
8. Best "We ******** up without destroying something" Music
9. Best Opening Menu Music
And finally...
10. Best End Game / Credits Music
I won't answer because it would primarily consist of FFVII and VIII stuff. I'd like to hear other people's opinions though.

WOO! A topic!
Anywho...
1. Best Battle Music
I've gotta say Final Fantasy X. It really suits those battles. Every time I hear it, I think "Yeah! Confindence! I'm gonna win! CHAAARGE!"
2. Best Boss Music
I'll say Final Fantasy IV. Not many boss battle songs make you feel as panicky as that one, especially when you are about to die.
3. Best Character Theme
I like a lot of themes. At the moment, I really like Aerith's theme. It's so pretty, and sad at the same time.
4. Best Main Villain Theme
Seymour's Theme. No other villain theme has yet to put a chill down my spine quite like Seymour's Theme does.
5. Best World Map Theme
Final Fantasy IV's overworld and underworld music. I could listen to those for hours.... and I did, too.
6. Best Town Music
Crystal Chronicles. The music in that game is some of my favorite music in all of video gaming. The music is especially good in the towns. I am especially fond of the music in Shella and Leuda.
7. Best "Oops, we destroyed something" Music
FFIV.
Whenever Cecil did a terrible thing on behalf of Baron/Golbez/Zemus, weather he knew it or not, there would always be music that really rubs it in your face. Cecil was probably used as a plaything of the villain more than all the other Final Fantasy heroes, at least to the best of my knowledge.
8. Best "We ******** up without destroying something" Music
WHAT? YUNA'S GONNA DIE? WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS? Tidus was ignorant, Tidus was optimistic, and than, all of a sudden, "OMG PLOT TWIST!"
The music that played there really added to the sadness that Tidus felt when he found out that the love of his life was going to sacrifice herself, and he didn't know a drop about it. He realised how much he messed up, and it made me cry.
9. Best Opening Menu Music
The original Final Fantasy. I don't know what it is about it, but I love those rising and falling scales. Wonderful.
10. Best End Game / Credits Music
Suteki Da Ne, the orchestral version. Less emphasis on Rikki's high pitched voice, more emphasis on the beautiful melody itself. It's enchanting, I tell you.

Ooo, good topic, I have to put some thought into this. the music is just too good to make such an easy decision.

Okay, I said I wouldn't answer, but my brother said that the "oops we ******** up without destroying something" music should be Cait Sith's theme song, because the character destroyed the game... I thought it was funny... sweatdrop
