A peaceful day in forest. All would be at ease. Well at least until our hero, Dart was interrupted by invading forces. His home town of Seles was burnt down by the invading forces and in all the commotion, Shana, Dart's long-time childhood friend was captured. Dart needed to get her back as quickly and safely as possible. On his journey to the vile Hellena Prison, he encountered a new ally. This noble knight went by the name of Lavitz. The duo joined forces and stormed the prison, and in due time, they recovered what they were searching for. But in order to get her back they would have to face the pig-ish Fruegal. Soon they arrive back to the castle in Bale where the trio now meet the loyal king Albert. They from there were sent to Hoax to defend that fortress form the invading forces. They were attack by a Giganto named Kongol. Dart who thought he was only a normal mortal being released the power of the Red-eyed Dragon and became the Dragoon of the Red-eyes Dragon. All thanks to the help of the mysterious Rose. After a nearly impossible victory, they made their way to the Marsh. After a full bound resistance against the invading forces, Dart and company continued to the Volcano Villlude. Once they made their way through the Valcano, they encountered a devil-bound monster called a Virage. Shana was drawn to it and somehow awakened it from the long sleep it had been portrayed to be in. That was not exactly an easy battle so to say. But then they entered the nest of the Jade Dragon. Where Shana became ill, and thats where they faced Greham and Feyrbrand. The death of Greham meant that Lavitz would become the next dragoon of Jade Dragon. The company of Dart went to Lohan and left Shana under the doctors care, so the could go to the temple of Shirley. There they met the original Dragoon of Light. She tested their worth of giving her the item that could save Shana. They past her tests and received the Dragoon spirit of the White-Silver Dragon. They returned to Lohan, having Shana become that Dragoon. Entering the Worlds Strongest Man competition and ran into Haschel and Lloyd. Two people who would become either allies or enemies.
Losing to Lloyd, they left and they found the king had be kidnapped. They made their way back to the hellish Hellena Prison to save the King. There they battle Fruegal. Once that battle was over, they saw the King something was removed from his back. Lavitz went into strike Lloyd who turned out to be on the side of evil. But Lloyd sent the Dragon buster through Lavitz's heart killing him almost instantly. Lloyd disappeared and Lavitz was left to die in Darts arms. Everyone retreated to Seles where they planned to take revenge for Lavitz's death. There they run into Kongol once more and they defeat him but also took mercy on him. From there they met with Albert's uncle Doel. After an argument between Albert and Doel, they fought. Doel was defeated and Haschel become the dragoon of thunder. There they pursued Lloyd, leaving Serdian soil into a world of Chaos and Mystery.
