Actually, he fits into a lot of catagories....he's an ex-konoha ninja, kinda-sorta quit Akatsuki but still has his ring, and he's the leader of Otogakure....

Well since were speaking about orochimaru....Jiraiya(A.K.A Ero-Sennin) is better. On a side note they butchered his voice in the english dub.Worse than naruto's.Although to be fair they ruined pretty much everyone.Except rock lee,kakashi,haku,and zabuza and maybe...no that's it. 3nodding
