Our camp is nestled in the hills far on the outskirts of Barton Towns and neighbors a small now burned out town. We use the town as a battle ground and our camp as a place to chat and discuss plans. The town has 2 main streets with blackened buildings on either side. The buildings are typical 3 story structures that are about ready to collapse. There are two main avenues in the town that meet in an intersection that acts as the main battle grounds in the town. The savenue known as Broadway runs North and South. The avenue called Main runs East and West and there is a large bridge in it that goes over the river that runs through town. Small alley sized streets crisscross the town. Each alleyway is narrow and has the high walls of buildings on either side. The sewer system is expansive and still in tact. There are manholes every 30 ft along the sewer lines. The sewer is 20 ft under the ground and sided with stone and mortar.

The town lies low in the plain and has hills out to two opposing sides (the west and east)with flat plains extending the other two ways(north and south). A river runs into the village and passes through it on its eastern side(The river runs north to south but enters and exits through the towns east side). On each bank of the river are small riverfront stores. This was the main tourist section of the village. Hotels that reach up to 4 or 5 stories high are found at different intervals here. Because of thier stone structures they didnt suffer that bad in the fire that destroyed most of the town. There is a walkway on either side of the river and the street is about 5 ft above the average water level in the river.

Surrounding the town are small farms that once had been quiet little country getaways. Now they are the forward camps of incoming forces. The old mills serve as ammunition stores and the old homesteads serve as bases of operations. These are frequently abandoned due to the nature of the attacks. The farms which had been burnt to the ground now are overgrown with wild grasses and weeds. Small streams that were once straight and narrow irrigation ditches now wind thier way down to blast craters making small ponds. There are few trees and most of those trees stand next to the homesteads. these farmlands stretch out all the way up to the foot of the hills to the east and west and as far as the eye can see north and south.
