I don't know if this will work or not but I'll give it a shot. My character is a 'modern' ninja. She's in modern Japan and a decendent of a line of ninjas from Jinn's time.
Ninja
Name: Jeimi Yung
Age (16-26): 18
Personality: Happy, a bit of a prankster at times, but can be serious when she needs to be
Bio (must have a history for ninjas): Though Jeimi was born in modern Japan, her family had a long line of ninja heros going back for a couple houndred years. Jeimi's parents had trained her older brother Milan before they died. Milan had been entrusted to train Jeimi. Though she did well in her studies and training, Jeimi would rather be on her computer.
App: 5'1", athletic build, short messy black hair, brown eyes, fair skin. Usually wears a white t-shirt, baggy green cargo pants, jean jacket, black and white sneakers, and cut off gloves. She also never goes anywhere without her white barrett (it's a hat, i can't spell)

Personality: Serious most of the time, very traditional
Bio (must have a history for ninjas): Milan is the first born to Seiji and Dijou Yung. Dijou was the last of his family line of a Ninja clan. He ws taught their ways to keep the tradition going. Milan's parents died from a strange disease. Keeping a promise to continue the line of the ninja, he swore to train jeimi, his younger sister in honor of his parents.
App: 6'2", lean/muscular, black hair and eyes, tanned skin
Weapons (max of five): Straight katana, short dagger, numchucks (sp?), throwing darts
