A great example of Oshare Kei, An Cafe produces music that can only be described as Nyappy, a term coined by front-man Miku. Nyappy, said to mean happy, bubbly, cute, bouncy, and so much more, is possibly the only way to describe this group.

So yeah, AnCafe is so much love. I noticed there wasn't a topic about them, so I decided to make one. They're my favourite oshare kei band, and I can't go a day without listening to them.

nope... Bou is most definately a male... in fact, they're all male... and their genre is oshare kai, meaning colorful style... it applies more to their style of music, it's very bubbly and happy, but it also applies to their fashion as well... there's lots of bright colors, a lot of times in things like scarves, gloves, and accent pieces... if you want, I can upload a couple of their latest songs so you can get a taste of them

All of the band members are male. They just dress up like a girl in a cute/punkish way, thus they are oshare kei. I wouldn't say that their music is pop. Can't put them in any genre really, like the first post, their songs are just... happy.
