I mean, Converse these days are kinda pvverrated, but I have to love them. I mean, I started out with the low-top black, like most do, but now It's great to find a unique pair of your own. These are a pair I really want. I'll most likely get them for the holidays. Here's a closer look mrgreen I would think this is a fashion discussion I guess. If there's another topic, feel free to get rid of this one. So yeah~ Converse: Love 'em? Hate 'em? Own 'em? What is your favorite or special pair?

i think some converses look really nice,
but i think lots of people tend to wear them in an ugly way
they are particular shoes
that need particular attention
in my opinion, that is
sometimes i like 'em,
sometimes i hate 'em
and since most of the time people wear them unfashionably
i voted hate
but they are pretty if you know what to wear with them

Personally, I like some Chucks. I liked Chuck Taylor more before it was bought out. They're, in general, made animal-free which is a good reason to like them. :] I wouldn't say they are the comfiest shoe in the world, but they last well.. just don't wear them out in the snow you know? XD
I own just one pair.. red hi-tops, I got them like four years ago and they still fit.

I totally getchya. I mean, I'm not a fan of the black low-tops, jeans, and a bvlack T-Shirt. I guess it's just too basic. But i have seen so many pretty outfits with the shoes, but not usually solid colored ones.

Some converse are alright, but they seem to be going over board. But hey, the majority wants them, they're making smart choices to keep on adding new styles of Chucks.
Personally, I myself wouldn't get them. I don't quite like the look of them with my outfits, and they're really mass-produced, but if I went insane one day and bought a pair, they'd be a pair of Emily the Strange converse a local store carries.
Army green, crazy grafitti all over them, and little spikes at the back. A bit too hardcore for my style, but I love them anyways xd

i agree with the general replies. if worn right chucks look good/decent. But usually you seem em with a pair of jeans and a hoodie, which is alright but average.
personally, i don't have a pair and wouldn't buy some because it's not my style. i like to dress up and be a "girly girl" (like my sig. blaugh ) and casual chucks don't quite fit cut it. confused

I'm a fan of basic black and the nicer printed ones.
I have a pair of brown and pink floral embroidered ones.
I'm usually not a fan of brown and pink...but these just called to me.
Not a fan of people being insanely snooty or obsessive about them though. They're just shoes.

love em! never liked the high top All Stars personally but I have a collection of lowtop All Stars of basics to limited editions to ones with prints. My camo ones are by far one of my favorite pairs!

Haha, I used to wear them all the time when I was a kid, then grew out of it.
Recently, at my job, we got in all black lowtops, so I bought those. They make my feet look cute and tiny and are perfect for wearing when Im dressing down. They go with everything.
Like Zoo said though, not exactly the most comfy and cushioned things in the world, but I dont mind them at all.

I really dislike them. I think the only ones I truely like are black on black hi-tops and only when some rockabilly dude is wearing them.

I really love Converse, but some of them are kind of ugly but the rest they are really cool.Most rocker guys are wearing them.I like the Chuckes Converse the most.

I love them.
There comfy, and they keep your feet relitivly cool in the summer.
I only own one pair, black and whtie hightops. And I wear them, like the lazy person I am, with jeans and a sweatshirt. Although I made them look really cute once with this black skirt that went down to my knees and a tan top, with a black jacket. hmmm I wonder if I have pictures @.@ off topic XP
