I was just curious to see what discipline everyones rides/prefers.
I currently do dressage, even though I love saddleseat.

i like hunt seat and english pleasure. but jumping is SO fun. i love riding my horse in jumpers because she loves it and will jump anything. (at one show, the first course of the day, the first jump was an oxer, followed by a broken like to a skinny and after that, a sharp change of direction. so many horses refused the skinny or ran out, but we just sailed over it, heart )

Brat_and_a_half i like hunt seat and english pleasure. but jumping is SO fun. i love riding my horse in jumpers because she loves it and will jump anything. (at one show, the first course of the day, the first jump was an oxer, followed by a broken like to a skinny and after that, a sharp change of direction. so many horses refused the skinny or ran out, but we just sailed over it, heart ) Lucky you refused? serious? that can't be good.

I just ride for pleasure <3 and i love to train horses... but i like jumping to! dressage is OK, but I like some speed smile

I love everything but what I prefer is going for a ride to the river or in the wood. biggrin

I love western, english is weird (my oppinion, so no offense english riders)
I get confused w/english because they bounce in the seat but western says don't bounce. does anyone know why? sweatdrop
