Well anywho... I was in GD last night. It was late, I was tired, and I probably wasn't thinking very clearly. But anywho, I go into a topic asking for porn, report it, post a big "Get the ******** out of GD" and wait to see how many people agree with me and how many people think I'm a jerk for yelling at the porn troll. Much to my surprise, the (in)famous Atreides 0 comes in basically yelling at me for "flaming" the porn troll. After a two-three page argument, he ends up calling me stupid, the other person on my side retarded, and I eventually get frustrated and leave. That's when the fun part starts. Me and the other guy who was on my side in this start talking via PM, and in the end we both decide that Atreides is a little p***k. So I put the following quote (that sums it up very nicely) in my sig:  Anywho, I go into a topic that's specifically flaming me for whatever reason, and joke around about the existance of such a thing. Atreides, who was in the topic reporting people, sees my sig and PMs me, telling me to remove it. I PM back asking why. He sends me back saying it's harassment. I PM back telling him that I'll ask a mod, and I PM Futo Maki. After exchanging a few more words with Atreides, I go to sleep confident that the issue will be resolved in the morning. So when I wake up, I find out that Atreides wasn't content to get one mods opinion on it, so he reported me and some other mod (who apparently knows Atreides from the tone of the PM I got) has disabled my sig. Anywho, I'm still waiting for a response from Futo Maki, and if she finds that my sig isn't harassment then I will PM the other mod telling her such and asking her if I can put the quote back in my sig. I know it's stupid, but it's a bit of a matter of principle now. Anyways, what do you guys think of this? Have you ever had close encounters with Atreides 0, or any priminent users? Ever had a sig disabled?

I had a "close encounter" with Atreides a long time ago, I was in the GD,a big shocker, and he said that I needed to "calm down and stop flaming people" when he was flaming me. So, I said that he was a hipocrite and needed to learn manners. He said that I was "talking smack to him" and said he reported me for harrassing him. To make a long story short, we flamed each other, he reported me to a mod, I appealed to the GD mod force and he got a major roasting. That's why he doesn't mess with me anymore.

Nice. He sicked his mod friend on me, but I have a sympathetic purple mod on my side. And his mod friend seems to be understanding about it. So I'unno.

I've had a sig disabled by the Sig Nazi, Tseta C. Aito. It wasn't anything personal, but he just has a thing for sigs and one of my random pics was just a little over the limit. O.o He's a member of the LRPG and for a short time found it fun to flame n00bs who keep posting in the guest book of my old website.
GD sucks. People make threads there just to piss other people off. If I ever become a mod (Pfft) I'm just gonna delete all the troll topics.

So now I'm pleading my case to various mods, who all seem sympathetic, but hesitant to let me put it in my sig.
Tseta never seemed the type to report people for stupid sig stuff. But I don't know him that well, so neh.
And GD does suck. Which is why we exist.

Tseta, for a while, was keeping count of sigs reported in his own sig. Did it in the name of dial-up, methinks.

I've gotten 2 PMs telling me I was "the rudest person in Site Feedback" in yet, I'm no where near it. I'm somewhere in the middle ninja I think it was the same person, considering I just PM'd the first telling them to go ahead and judge me based on less than half of my posts, and then blocked them xd .
I call ideas stupid.. which isn't mean, its true. xp

Seriously, I've hated that guy pretty much since the day I joined Gaia. Just looking at his sig made me instantly hate him with a passion. It did.
Well, he pissed me off, I didn't agree with him stepping in and being a d**k at [Bunny Luv], whom I saw was being shat upon by the the douchebag, and that's how I got into the argument. Atreides turned a small instance of reporting into a super-technical, watered-down, and retarded circlejerk of an argument. Now I really hate Atreides. A lot.
Seriously, all he would do was say something that was a flame and we would call him a hypocrite for it and he would be all "That's not what I said. This was not a flame because of [insert completely bullshit reason involving the Gaia ToS (which nobody gives a ******** about anyway)]." and then he would try to sharpen the spearhead of his argument (which was more of a dull, bent spork if you ask me) with insulting us AGAIN! "Hey it's not my fault that you guys aren't as educated as me."
Why do so many people like him? Seriously!
