Well, thanks to a suggestion from Infenyte, we have this shiny new section. Hopefully it will make keeping track of characters just a bit easier, especially for those of us playing more than one.
It's simple enough: one post per person (not per character, per person) Place your gaian ID, the character you play, and the last place you posted. Update the last place you've posted whenever you have finished posting in Midori for the day.
Example:
