Here are the official Rules of Battle.

1. All battles are turn based with 1 100sided die roll to determine if a hit is successful.

2. You must use the official battle card found in the 2nd post.

3. You must state and describe what move you are using,
and who you are going after.

4. All battles are limited to 20 post (Energy) per combatant, first to take 15 damage is knocked out.
(Each person must keep track of there own hits and damage)
(Anyone caught cheating by saying they have more hits that they do will automatically lose the fight and one level.)
If you forget to roll in your post it is an automatic miss (so be careful).

5. The successful roll number is determined in this manner; 50 + or - the level difference between you and your opponent in favor of the higher level fighter.
((ex.1 - Bob is lv32 and Jane is lv32. If Bob attacks Jane his successful roll to hit Jane would be 50 or higher, Because there levels are equal.)
(ex.2 - Bob is lv32 and Jane is lv42. If Bob attacks Jane his successful roll to hit Jane would be 60 or higher, because he is 10 level lower than Jane.)
And so on, This means if you are Lv 100 you need a 0 to hit a Lv 0
(Really mean though)

6. Finishing Moves Must be listed in your RP Character Profile,
A finishing move uses 5 energy and causes 10 damage. It can not be used if you have less then 5 energy to spare. Certain finishers may have exceptions to this rule, However they must be submitted to the Guild Masters Rune, Youzaburo and Mithra and be agreed upon in a 2/3 vote.

7. If you want to go up in a Level you must post a link to the page you won on,
in the Victory Records thread, So I can update your Level.

8. If your name doesn't match any in the Battle Record you can't level up until I get the message for your name change.
(Follow the Name Change Rule!!!)

9. Death in RPs
(Up till now there has been no Playable Char death in RPs)
(Now your Char can die, But don't worry about it.......to much)

10. Reviving in RPs
(This is a little complicated, We added Death so we added reviving)
(You can revive one of three ways in an RP story)
(1. You wait one whole week (In Real Time) with no posts in RPs and your revived at no cost)
(2. You can revive instantly at the cost of one Level)
(Instant revives must be linked to in the Land of the Dead Subforum)
(3. Convince the Gods (Controlled by Youzaburo, Mithra and Myself to revive you, Cost of reviving this way may vary)

11. Battling NPCs
(NPCs are important parts of any story, But battling an NPC is tricky.)
(Only battles with NPCs played by Guild crew or the RPs owner can level you up.)
(This means you can't start a battle with your own NPC and level up, Sorry)

Anyone not following the Rules of Battle will be seen as God Modding and warned or banned.

Here is the Official battle rules for summons in battle.

All Summons must be approved before use.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1.An approved summon can be used in battle,
with this special battle card,


Name -
Lv. - (Same as Summoner)
Energy - 1
Target -
Successful Roll # -


2. An approved summon must be summoned successfully,
(This mean you must roll a 50 or higher in an attempt to summon your summon and uses up 1 energy like a normal attack)
(Ex. Bob tries to summon his Badger summon he would put,
*Attempts to summon Black Badger*
"Lv. - 32
Hits made - 3/15
Damage - 5/15
Energy - 10/20
Target - Summon
Successful Roll # - 50"
And then use the 100sided die roll post action like normal,
If the summon succeeds then you get to post the summons one attack post and attempt to roll a successful hit,
Ex. On summoning rolled a 52 so success,
*Black Badger attacks with fury claws*
Then Bob would post and roll trying to get a successful hit.)

3. An approved summon comes out and attacks the the opponent in place of 1 of your attacks but the summon does 3 damage if it hits,

4. An approved summon's level is equal to the summoner's level,

5. An approved summon can not be summoned in succession,
all summonings must be at least 2 of your posts apart,
(Ex. Bob summons his badger on his 2nd post,
He can't summon it again till his 5th post),

6. An approved summon can not use finishing moves, Sorry.
(This does not mean your finishing attack cant involve your summon)
