Hi, has anyone heard about friesian? U know those beautiful and black horses come from Deutchland.

Ah yes, the friesian. I currently take lessons at a friesian-only ranch, and they are indeed wonderful horses. Difficult to ride the more elite baroque friesians, but overall they have wonderful temperments.
They are from Holland, where they speak Dutch, but not from Deutschland (Germany).

Same here and awwwwwwww lucky and I saw a sign that says FReisians for sale and I agree on those horses, they're the greatest and Holland? I know that and I thought they came from the Netherlands.

canadarocks and how many hands is this beautifull horse.m parents are looking for a pretty horse for me. biggrin 15 or 16 hands but they lok big and awwwwwwwww cool, I hope you get a great horse like Friesian.^^

Antlers Aye - my facts were muddled. The are indeed from Friesland, which is in the north of the Netherlands, yet most of the best friesians today are bred in Holland. Awwwwww cool I know that and the best bred in Holland? how are they the best?

Good lines, good conformation, excellent temperments and amazing knee action. They produce a lot of STER geldings and mares, and many friesian events are held there, as well as plenty of kurings and stallion shows. The ranch I train at imports nearly all their friesians from Holland farms, and those friesians are easily the best around, with amazing performance and gaits, as well as sweet temperments.
