Opening Notes:
This Roleplay is a basic Zombie survival adventure. I’m trying to make it as original and action packed as possible, so bare with me.
Story:
In 2019, the government got information of a full oil field deep beneath a mountain in costa Rica. They immediately took up trying to obtain the Oil, for it looked like one of the last oil fields on Earth. The economy was slowly dropping into a depression, and if the oil was obtained quickly enough, lives could be saved. The government decided to devote as much time as possible to the large area of land, mining as deep and as wide as they could, all in search of the last oil.
Upon discovering the first oil banks far beneath the rock and soil, the workers suddenly came down with a strange sickness, leaving 150 workers hospitalized. Upon analysis of the workers, scientists were called in, trying to find exactly what the mysterious illness was, and what it did. As the research began, many of the other workers began contracting the strange disease, leaving some of them with large areas of rotting skin and minor delusions. Then, a week after the disease was contracted, many of the ill began attacking in groups, their minds wiped of all knowledge of their life before.
As the government realized what was upon them, it was too late. They began evacuating much of Mexico and costa Rica, but to no avail. The strange disease swept quickly through North America, leaving most people to die and come back to life as mindless, walking corpses. While the disease moved farther and farther across the world, the government began creating sterile facilities, all meant for learning about the disease. They learned more and more, trying to create an antidote. But it was far too late for that, for the zombie apocalypse had begun, and with nothing to stop it.
