Ok next years anime con I want to actually cosplay but I ran into money problems. So we got to keep it cheap ok!
I'm open for suggestions in female charactors from these anime's:
Zelda
KOF (King Of Fighters)
FF Games or movie Male too I guess on this one.
Soul Calibur
ehhhh can't remeber my other anime's but you get the idea.
Please when you suggest a charactor for it to be cheaply made!

Oooh, this is a tough one....
Hmm... {*is trying to think of girl characters with fairly simple or reasonable outfits (I don't want to think about cross-dressing right now)*}.... um.......
...You could be Kairi from Kingdom Hearts (the first game)! You'd just need to find a couple tank tops... but you'd probably have to make the skirt thing (I'm pretty sure it's actually shorts underneath, but they're disguised to look like a skirt).
The shoe/sandal/clog things might be hard to find in the right color, but I know there are shoes like that out there. Then a bunch of randomly assorted bracelet things, and that necklace she's always wearing...
And you could either dye your hair bright red, or you could find a wig somewhere...
Yeah, I think it would be pretty inexpensive to dress up as Kairi...
Anyway, that's my suggestion! 3nodding

If I was you the first thing that I would do is find some one who is like you in size, hight, and hair color. after that its easy! lets use me for example. I narroed my choices down to three. rosett (chrono crusade) winrie (icant spell her name but she is from full metal alchamist) and pacifica (scrapped princess). I chose Rosett from chrono crusade because she had the most modist outfit. I think that if i wanderd around half dressed i would probably pass out. you don't have to follow that rule thats just what i did. next i went to a fabric store picked out a dress pattern and a couple yards of cloth nat to mention matching thread. by the time i was done i think the total costed me about $15.79 with the gloves at the most it was around $30.00 for every thing

posting pics might help. im glad yours was cheap... the kimono (that eventually im going to make soon) is $125. and some odd sense... course the silk stuff is expensive... but yes think thats what im gonna were next year... unless i find something else...

I'm sticking with my original suggestion of Kairi. I would say that yoiu could be Aerith.... but I was Aerith last year, and I'm selfish enough that I don't want anyone I know to be Aerith for a few years at least... sweatdrop Sorry...
But yeah, some of those costumes look fairly simple, but aren't modest.... and some of them are plenty modest but are far from simple.... (take Zelda's fancy dresses as an example...) Which is why I'm still sticking with Kairi. Her outfit is simple, and if we made the skirt a little longer, then it's modest, too! 3nodding xd
