Wolf's Rain In some distant future, it's common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for 200 years. However, it seems this is false as wolves have not disappeared but rather have taken human form. Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the Lunar Flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the scent to paradise. The source of the smell is Cheza, a girl who sleeps in what appears to be suspended animation in a lab. She and the wolves are drawn to each other, and Kiba hopes to find paradise once he finds the source of the scent of Lunar Flowers. However, once Kiba finds Cheza, she is kidnapped by a mysterious person called Darcia, and his search begins anew. Before he leaves the city, he meets 3 other wolves, Tsume, Hige and Toboe. All four wolves have very different personalities and ideas, and their friendliness towards each other is a little rough around the edges. However, they soon band together to continue to search for paradise. Feel Free to discus the anime, but please do not post spoilers unless you put "spoilers:" and then the spoiler in white. Please do not ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet!

Characters:Blue: Quent's longtime companion, Blue has been at Quent's side since she herself was a pup. After a confrontation with Cheza, Blue learns that she has wolf blood in her. When a couple of armed guards attack an innocent, she saves him, and tends to his wounds by licking them. Quent, beliving that Blue did the deed, drives her off. Later, she is attacked by the same guards, and is gravely wounded. With no Quent to help her out, she goes on without him, on a journey to find who she really is. Cheza: A.K.A. The Flower Maiden, Cheza was kidnapped by Darcia from a secret lab. Cheza is emotionally connected with the wolves Kiba, Tsume, Hige, and Toboe. They find her when she abandons Darcia's ship for reasons unknown. When the pack does find her, Kiba demonstrates a strange infatuation towards her. Protective of her, Cheza stays in the pack. She is young and innocent, and ignorant of the evil world around her. She has red eyes, and will supposedly lead the pack to the fabled Paradise. Darcia: One of three Nobles, Darcia is a man shrouded in mystery. He wears a mask that covers one his eyes, and it supposedly has distasterous effects when revealed. Darcia kidnapped Cheza from the secret lab, intent to use her for something: to restore life to his lover, Harmona. How he intends to use her to do that task remains a mystery. Furious that Cheza escaped from him, he spends all of his energy on recapturing her from Kiba's pack. Hige: An extremely laid-back, no-worries, anything-goes, ladies-man kind of wolf who wears an extremely huge collar. Before he met the pack, Hige would search around for anything that would sustain his life and make it meaningful, food or women otherwise. He saved Kiba from the clutches of humans and later on befriended him because he wanted to go on something adventurous; sick on the monotonous and boring life he had. While he may seem light-headed, he is quite cunning, and he teaches Kiba all the ways of the humans, while putting his own "touch" in interacting with his fellow pack members.
