If gladiator, why?: After being sold as a slave, his physical prowess has been noted, so when not defending a kingdom for whoever pays the most, his master lets him loose in the arena and makes bets upon him. Marius having no choice, fights for his life and bread.
Weapons: He has chains attached to his arms that stretch out to about 10 feet. The chains are spiked and at each end is a wickedly hooked blade. He also isnt bad with his arms and legs either... or his claws and reeth
Powers: An incredible fighter whom also has powerful abilities and magics involving thunder.
Bio: Marius appears happy and normal, but that is only because he is plotting his escape and freedom. He can be a bit of a flirt or a pompous jerk but hes at heart a nice guy whose getting sick of the senseless killing he has to do.
Histoy: Found as an egg whom fell from his nest. He was taken by an old hermit whom sold him at a nearby village to a couple of animal traders. He hatched in a cage and has known nothing else but being surrounded by iron bars. Over the years, he grew, being sold from trader to trader as a circus animal or rare oddity. It was hell had it not been for a few key people who were nice to him. As he grew, he learned of his ability to change his form but it came at the wrong time as he was to be presented to a king. Upon unveiling of the cage, only the boy was there. Outraged of this act, the king beheaded the traders and sent Marius to work as a slave in a mine.
As he got older, he learned more of his gifts and powers and one day, he broke his chains and lashed out against the keepers. He became a hero that day as he single handedly took down 2 dozen heavily armed guards with his fists and chains. He then left, going into the world. He swore that he would never been imprisioned again and would destroy slavery where he found it. Taking his chains as a sign to never forget his duty but he needed a real weapon. Seeking a great weaponsmith, he asked him to forge the chains into a weapon, which he did, but at a terrible price. Marius was tricked. He was asked in payment to deliver a package. That package went to a powerful mage whom reveiled to Marius that it was not the package he was delivering but himself. Marius was subdued by his magics and was once again bound to servitude by an artifact that holds his soul. This time he is kept as a warrior. He made a name for himself in the arena and on the battlefield and easily outmatches some royal generals. Each day he plots and schemes to free himself once more and deliver a terrible wrath on those that abused him.

If gladiator, why?: Wanting to prove herself worthy as a fighter she took on the role of a gladiator impersonating a male, as Mataus, until her idenity is to be revealed.
Weapons: Twin blades that are rather light, but durable. Capable to be thrown like a knife and when one is lost a sheild takes it's place, which has razor sharp edges and is also light enough to be thrown, yet durable enough to withstand heavy blows.
Powers: Able to glide and flow like the wind. Call up the wind to give her speed. When used with her swards can cut through tender flesh.
Bio: Kaze keeps to herself unless she can help the person needing it most, or if she can get help from them. She is always eager to prove her worth as a fighter, and if she can take one step closer to that she will do everything in her power to get there.
Histoy: Little is known about Kaze except for the fact that she wants to fight and will do anything possible to achive her goal.

Bio/History: Lorenden was once the king in a kingdom belonging to the quarenthal demons. They did not take to the rule of the Enkil Family and were finally routed out of their homes. He has always put his people before himself. In the fighting he has lost many he held close. He is very prideful and does not like being treted as less than he is. He has secretly vowed to avenge those who fell and make his people a real kingdom again.

Bio: Born to the Devil himself, Baudrine was the heir to many of the furtunes of Hell. Unfortunatly, when Leits came, Baudrine was kicked from his status and ended up getting captured by Leits. After a while, Leits and Baudrine became friends and he let Baudrine come back to Enkil with him, on one condition. He was to be a gladiator for his family.

Bio/History: (optional) born into a family wrapped around military he grew to understand war and fighting. his father was a great fighter, going into military training at a young age to become a body guard of the royal family, woodbury. his father was killed on his way home after finsihing work. tuskino's mom thought she would never let her son leave her sight, but thos edays were shortly lived. a few years later when he turned 9 his mother thought he hould fallow in his father's footsteps to honor his death. he quickly learned how to weild and use a sword, and 5 years into his training he left to find a mage. after a year of traveling he finaly found a mage willing to teach him. he trained with this mage for 4 years until he mastered the art of fire works, he could now control fire how he wished, after packing his equipment and setting out, he returned home and began his life as a bodyguard for the woodbury family.

Bio: A pure hearted boy who never dwells on negative feelings or his past but prefers to try to forget his hardship and move forward. Hates when he sees discrimination between races so he is kind to any race he finds. He became a fighter to surpass his father and perfect their fighting style which has never left the family.
History: His ancient ancesters were farmers that all used his shovel, which has been restored many times, his father died from cardiac arrest while his mother lays in a sick bed from an uncurable by current medicines or magic disease. He likes to garden, so he only uses his shovel for battle or helping farming citizens, and spends much of his time there. He has never been sent to the battlefield but once as spellcasters' guard where he never got to do much but watch others get killed.

Bio/History: Yinar had it rough as a child. She was beat and abused by her father and older brothers. They became bored with her not long after her mother died "mysteriously"... So they sold her. The man who bought her tortured and abused her to the point where her mind seems to have been broken slightly. She turned on him one night while he was asleep, killing him with her bare hands. Before leaving the man's property, she put his head on display in the front yard upon the fence. She enjoys the pain of others after having been put through so much of it herself. She does seem to soften when shown kindness though.
Other: One of her favorite past times seems to be pushing Werlis's buttons enough to send him into a berserker rage.

Appearence: Garron stands at six foot two, broad shouldered muscular build. Not overly built, he possesses more strength then his form would normally be able to withstand, thanks to magical means all of his race were born with. His figure also clearly possesses an agile, litheness about him. His eyes are a mix between light, icy blue and forest green, an odd mix to be sure. His skin is a dark brown, tan color with a course, rough feel to it. His head is shaved bald, though his sharp angular features and slight facial hair allows him to pull this look off fairly well. But as a Monkathian warrior, hair enough to be grasped was thought of as a weakness, a potential handhold for an enemy, thus the baldness. There is a somewhat noticable scar running along his neck, which looks disfiguring enough, but he bears it with pride apparantly, as he does the numerous other scars that litter his arms, legs, and chest.

If gladiator, why?: Whenever he feels like competing, or he needs a fight, he'll drop by the arena to pick up some money from the bets placed on him, and simply to have some good old fashion adrenaline rushes.
Weapons: Garron has always favored the ancient Roman warriors, particuarly their gladiators. Thus his weaponry consists of a normal length gladius, made of reinforced folded steel, given to him during his fifth life cycle by a Japanese smith whom he'd befriended. He also wields a parma,(a round gladiator shield) made of vibranium, a metal which absorbs kinetic energy without effect, and is amongst one of the harder metals in the world, this weapon he was actually able to craft during his eighth life cycle. He also wears vibranium bracers, made the same time as the parma.
Powers: Like all Monkathians, he possesses three innate Monkathian traits, as well as a self taught profession passed down from life to life. He possesses reverse sight, which is a mental power that allows him to literally sense if some one is looking at him. Within a few moments of their eyes following him, he can get their exact position in the back of his mind, and trace their line of sight back to them, and, he can even gain a certain precognition of what their next move, or action will be. Also, if direct eye contact is established, he can actually enter their mind to a certain degree, able to pick up emmotions, thoughts, and information resting on the outer edges of their consciousness. His second power, is that which all Monkathians are gifted with no matter what, increased physical attributes, strength, speed, reflexes, and all his senses such as touch, taste, smell, and hearing are all increased beyond those of humans. His third, recently regained Monkathian ability is that of auramancing, allowing him to project, intake, manipulate, mask, and change his aura at will, as well as project it in blasts of energy, or use it to bolster his strength, or solidify it a bit more to give him extra protection from attacks. His aura also gives him a certain degree of protection from most forms of mystical, magical attacks, and effects. His self taught power is that of geo-awareness and manipulation. Through a long period of meditation and self thought, he became intuned towards the nature, and awareness of Earth. He can speak to her, emplor her to bend and shape herself to aid him. Anotherwords, as long as he remains in her good graces, he can control the Earth it's self and control rock, dirt, and nature.
Bio: Garron was born into a royal family of war. A high title to be sure amongst the war loving Monkathians. The first half of his first cycle was lived out in the confines of his fathers house, he always thought himself to be a great warrior, the greatest, no one could defeat him in the spars he'd have in his childhood with his friends... Of course, no one wished to tell him, that many times he was let win, so as not to embaress his father. Garron however, let these "winnings" go to his head. And one day challanged the War Son of another family. He was soundly thrashed, and when he tried to attack his opponant from behind in rage and denial, the boy swung about, and caught Garron in the throat with his blade. His throat was able to be closed, and he would live and be able t breath normally for the rest of his life. But the Peaceful One who'd healed him informed him that he'd never be able to talk the same again, which he learned was deffinately true. He spent the rest of his life on Monkathia as a War Son, learning the ways of battle, until a cousin of his, an Island Speaker grew to confidant in his magical abilities, and in the end, sought out the source of Monkathias mystical ways, and inadvertantly, brought about the destruction of Monkathia its self. All fifteen of it's islands sank beneath the ocean, Garron and his cousin however were not on Monkathia when it sank. And Garron woke in a foreign world confused and unable to converse with it's people. He never found out, during all eight of his next cycles exactly what had happened there. Over the years he learned the language, ways, and rules of this new world. Over the years he developed a name for himself, fighting, battling, doing whatever he can to pass the endless years until his End Breath.

Other: Inside Garron, in the back recesses of his mind resides the very life force of his people. The Life Dragon Illior who is life and death for the Monkathian people. Through this dragon spirit, the Monkathians are resurrected each time they die until all fifteen lives are spent. This dragon spirit of life and death resides in Garron, and as his host is one of the only three still living Monkathians, he must keep him alive during this current, tenth life, in order to reproduce, and bring the Monkathian race which Illior was so fond of back into existance... But can this meddlesome dragon spirit truly bring the Monkathians back to life with such a host? Only time will tell how this will end up.

Bio/History: Werlis is a full blooded demon. He is a berserker by birth, but no longer by choice. He no longer yearns for his berserker rages as he once did as he can no longer control them or stop them like he used to. He is quick to anger now, though sometimes he can control himself enough to calm down before his rage takes hold. He has been used over the years for his power. He has even been bedded not out of love but with the hopes there would be a child fathered by him. He is one of King Shiningblade's generals and is considered to be the champion of the family and the arena.
