"Dangit..."ramirez said. He had prior dealings with Immortals other than himself, but none as powerful as these. He ran fullspeed at three of the, and killed them accordingly, but more just kept on coming.

Hazel eyes watched from off to the side, she had little interest in the fights, hell Phoenix much rather do exactly what she was doing, stand back in watch in minor interest. No she wasn't all 'oh lets go kill other immortals' that was only going to get her killed faster and she had things she wanted to do in life still, besides she tended to learn more from watching then getting cut up and bloodied.

Ramirez ran up to one more of them and killed him. "I've decided to get out of here." With that, he bolted away.

Well that ended the show quick enough, and she was smart enough to back away and walk off, no use being noticed by sword happy people. Though she didn't care much about the person that had run off, from what she saw he wasn't of importance and no one she really wanted to have to deal with on unfriendly terms.

Ramirez continued to walk in a forward direction, hoping not to get into any battles.

Methos had watched the strangely uneven battle from a nearby rooftop, lured there by the intensity of several Quickenings in one spot. "Whatever happened to the single challenge rule?" he muttered, unable to stop a shudder of something akin to horror from running down his spine.
The lone victor, who looked vaguely familiar to the world's oldest living man, was coming down the street in his direction. It's a wonder he's still on his feet, Methos thought, squinting to make out the man's features from his spot on the roof.

"Ramirez," Methos breathed as he saw the other man's face clearly. They had never met, but the ancient had read the Egyptian's chronicles, had spoken of him with Conner MacLeod and Darius.
I'm nobody, he thought at Ramirez, ducking back from the edge of the roof. Just a scared guy who saw you mow down several Immortals and take their Quickenings, and it barely slowed you down. Never should have mixed whiskey with my beer, because I had to have imagined all that!

Methos about leaped out of his skin when Ramirez suddenly materialized behind him, his sword in his hand almost without thought. But the "Spaniard" merely walked away, settled against the wall around the rooftop, and fell asleep.
Methos stood and stared, slowly lowering his sword tip. His first thought was "Get going while the getting's good!" Then there was the twinge of curiosity.
'Didn't I give up curiosity in the 12th century?' he scolded himself. Walking cautiously forward, he poked Ramirez gently with the tip of his sword. 'This is a mistake,' he grumbled.
