I already put this in the Girls Only Guild, but I figured I'd get more advice here.
There are two guys sort of in my life, one ex-boyfriend and one old...something.
My boyfriend "Chris" and I went out for a month, then a couple of months ago he ended things. (His exact words: "It's not that I don't like you, I do, I'm just not ready for a relationship right now.") We used to be really good friends, but it's been two months and we still haven't had a decent conversation for over five minutes. I thought I was over him, but I'm starting to think I may still have feelings for him.
Then, guy number 2. I fell completely in love with this one guy, "Peter," when I was...God, I don't know, I was young, like middle-school young. He was smart and creative and had a charisma that drew people right to him. I would fantasize about him all day, and not a second went by when I didn't think about him in some capacity. But I only saw him a few times, and I could never let him know my true feelings for him. I go to a different school now, but I still get those same shivers when I think about him.
I need to get over these guys. I need to stop wanting Chris, and I need to get rid of my feelings for Peter for good. Advice, anyone?

Challenge what the future holds
So you want to get over both?
It'll take time.
It took me a year to get over this one guy, Chris. Ohweird.
And. I think it was good for me. I lived the fun free single life for a while. :3
And yeah now, I've been with someone and it's over. But sometimes, you'll need to have that space between someone.
And maybe it'll be good to keep your distance from both off them for a little.
Try and keep your head up to the sky.

Well, first there has to be a realization of sorts.
First off, Chris used a line that most every guy uses when he wants out of a relationship. You two were good friends, he THOUGHT he might have more feelings for you, then after a month he finally made a decision. This wasn't the relationship he wanted. And now whenever he sees you all he can think about IS that relationship. He just feels awkward talking to you now. It wasn't a relationship as he had put it, but a relationship with you. If yall were good friends before, he should have no problem talking to you about the relationship and how he felt about it.
Peter has a personality that most everyone takes as something deeper, but that's just how he is. For this guy what you need is closure, sometime when you DO see him, tell him flat out. Tell him how you feel, why you feel, and what you plan to do. If he turns out to have the same feelings and you want to see where it goes, best of luck to you. Otherwise the what-if factor will always play in your mind, drive you crazy. The worst that can happen is that he doesn't have the same feelings. And since you hardly, if at all, see each other, then that shouldn't really matter. But if he does, then yall can both try a bit harder at seeing each other, go on dates, talk on the phone, etc.
I'm with Aarora though. It'll take a lot of time to get over either of them.

Hn. Yeah...It might take a while to release the feelings you have for Peter, but as for Chris?
I mean, he never talks to you anymore, and he's like he's completely different--a different person. Is that really the guy you loved?
