First off, I want you all to read these rules, so I don't have to go skitzo on you and burn your eyes out. (OMFG that song on flarn's profile is stuck in my head! sad )

Rules:

• No spamming. Save that for the chatterbox. This is a devoted thread for the solving of the zurg puzzles.

• Do not post the source codes. The proper way to solve the passwords will not be in the source code. Maybe image properties, but not entire source codes. They just waste space.

• Do not come in here and flame other people. We're all here for the same reason, and if you disagree, you have every right to say so. Unless your "theory" is in my section for theories that have been proven false.

• If I, or another member of the guild's crew, say you're breaking a rule, you're breaking a rule.

• Do not stretch the page. Refrain from posting any large images.

• Please please PLEASE stop PMing me asking why a certain password doesn't work for you. If you need help with this, post in the thread and ask for help. My inbox is currently full of people asking why these passwords aren't working because tehy've typed them in wrong. -_-

Breaking these rules is grounds to have your posts removed from the thread, removal from the thread, and even removal from the guild if you keep it up enough...! surprised

With that out of the way, here are the passwords we've decoded so far. Just because it says we don't have a password set doesn't mean we're twiddling our thumbs. Keep reading for the clues we've found.

((NOTE:Make sure you don't paste the bullet (•)at the beginning of the link.
Make sure you erase the spaces at the end of the link.

Make sure the next four passwords are put in EXACTLY as you see them on page one, except without the bullets(•) of course.

If this still doesn't work, you're doing something wrong. Plenty of us have gotten into the zurg's 4th page with these passwords, including myself.))

Explanations

•1st page: Multiple sources have informed me that ufo 12 had put a cryptogram on his profile, and when solved, the answer was "urmothership". Go figure...!

•2nd page: The jigsaw puzzle labelled "Classified" contained the four words "foo" "baz" "bar" and "quux". mix them up just right and you get the second password.

•3rd page: Unfortunately, the eggplant profile was the clue. we all know what i'm talking about. Don't bring it up, it's solved.

•4th page:

password 1:
A series of letters found in the source code next to the speaker image led to a link to a site with a stego decrypter, a program that finds hidden codes in jpg and gif files. Upon decoding the image in i_am_the_eggplant, it gave us the link to the CREEPIEST clue we've ever gotten. This thing gave me nightmares, and I didn't even sleep:

HOWEVER, you take that horrible sound that makes you feel like someone's watching you, and you increase the speed by 25%:

password 2: the series of letters and numbers were decoded with an MD5 decrypter to get "zurg1234"

password 3: the other pages had little images in the corner of the greek letters alpha, beta, and gamma. The next one in the list was delta, so the password was delta.

Other Information We Know

Items placed here are things we know about, but do not believe to have anything to do with the passwords we're looking for. Don't tell us things we already know.

Analyzing the "Blueprints:

It appears to be blueprints for some kind of transport. Maybe a portal to somewhere...? On another part of the blueprint, you can CLEARLY see that they plan to ABDUCT SANTA CLAUS!! rofl

Yes, this is the new forum. I put it in the guild so it'll be easier to take care of rulebreakers. They keep breaking rules, I throw them out. ^_^

That and this way you all have a place to discuss future events as well. The guild itself was set up before the halloween event with the purpose of giving us a place to discuss gaia events and conspiracies. After the original theory was proven, everyone went about as if nothing happened. My plan is to revive the spirit of investigation this guild used to have, and I saw that spirit in the people helping in the mothership thread. razz

I was thinking they could be the first and last letters of the zurg's names. But then there'd be an NK (Nark), ZP (Zooeep), etc. And there are none.

They couldn't give away a password by saying Delta, so they used other words.

And most likely to throw some people off track.

I think they named the blanks where you can input the texts in it, meta [foo], - bar and the other one.
