So I was listening to the Blues Brothers the other day and a song came that said,
Quote:
By the year 2006 the music known today as Blues will only exist in your local record store
So I'm trying to schedule a blues fest in the summer of 07 and now that I think about it blues really isn't known that well today...is it infact dead?

Blues isn't as active as I've been told it was in past years, but it's still going.
Oh, and it's not dead, Look up "Ronnie Ray and the Coolers," my dad knows their bassist :B

blues is not dead. you just have to know where to look. yeh there will be a little blues in mainstream record stores, but if you look into small underground music stores there will be heaps of interesting music that you can find no-where else.
