There is a distant village...
Past the mountians and lakes,
Into the north, across ice and snow.
It is the village of Dracona.
The way is hazardous to travel and difficult to find,
But treasure hunters, beast tamers, and magic enthusiests alike
all come to this village for one thing...
The vast, magical forest nearby.
It is called the Euph'orest by the locals, protected by a strong magic.
But it is what lives within the forest that facinates the travelers:
Dragons and other magical creatures.
Some come only to ever catch glimpse of the animals.
Others want to have more.
Timid Treasure Hunters will bring back skulls, bones, claws, and stories.
Braver souls bring back a more greater, expensive -and certainly more dangerous- loot.
Eggs.
Eggs can be hatched, and the magical animal inside can be tamed.
The rarity and dreams of these eggs cause great demand.
And the chance of a loyal companionship between a human and a dragon is the chance of a lifetime.
..:: Current History ::..
To explain just how rare the dragon eggs are, there are only 9 tamed dragons in the world, 7 of which were the original elemental dragons of Dracona. Most of their masters pased away long ago, and had no choice but to live in hiding due to the greedy nature of humans.
Hunters who do manage out with word of an egg, will usually hatch it only to find some kind of magical bird or talking lizard (which still sells with great value).
One local hunter is sought after most. Yuucius the mysterious, and dissapearing. She is rarely seen, but is the only known hunter in over 10 years to have been able to come out of the forest with a considerable amount of dragon eggs. She seems to understand the nature of the forest, and also the hearts of the dragons. By her side is Gemfire, the dragon of Fire and one of the original elemental dragons. Not much is known of this individual, but she seems to want to help those who are seeking the companionship of a dragon.
