Cid and Vincent. At first I was like O_o when I saw a fic with them but I was dareing and read it. It turned out really good. My first thought of Cid when I played the game was that he was a perv and would be the one likely to punch nurses asses in the old folks home, lol. But I can see him doing the same thing to guys. xd Plus there isn't much of an age difference. Sure Vincent looks like he's in his 20's but he's been asleep for 30 years. That would make him in his 50's at least.
Their very different personalities makes it interesting. Cid's loud and obnoxious and Vince's, well not, lol.

Oh... wow. @_@ Can you give us the link to that fic? I've always thought Cid and Vincent to be weird... I dunno I just can't really see it. Vincent's 67, by the way, if you wanted to know the specific age XD

Yeah there are actually quite a few hints to that in FF7DoC. I can see Vince being with either Cid or Yuffie. Strange as the second may sound he's really good at dealing with her. O_o
Dirge of Cerbirus Spoiler: Oh thats right! Or shelk I really liked her and he did say she acted like ummm whats her face Sephys mum who he had liked also. >w<

He yells, he drinks, he smokes, he has a sharp object in his hands WHILE he drinks. If I didn't think Cloud was such a pansy, he'd scare me too because people with mental problems shouldn't be allowed sharp pointy swords. However, since he's so emo, he's more likely to cut himself then run a skinny little thing like me through

Vincent's age is the only thing bothering me about the Vincent/Yuffie relationship. She's like sixteen and he's OLD! It's like this thing I read about a gay couple. There was a twenty year old and a sixty-four year old.

Yeah. If only Vincent could get younger... They would be a super cute couple then. I always kind of saw Leon and Yuffie, if I had to make him straight. They're closer in age and they're kind of cute together.

Yuffie with Leon or Vincent just squicks me out. >.< I dunno why... I just don't like those pairing... so much that it makes me squirm..... I dunno, I stick Yuffie with Aeris and leave the other two to the guys^^; Anywho CidxVincent! ^_^ That's one of my faves... There's a fic ..I think it's called Chocolate.... I think it's on FF.net. That got me into the pairing... EvilAuthor Cid scares me because he just seems so harsh. He yells, he drinks, he smokes, he has a sharp object in his hands WHILE he drinks. mysticneko Their very different personalities makes it interesting. Cid's loud and obnoxious and Vince's, well not, lol. I think the contrast between their personalities is what makes it possible, actually. "Opposites attract" anyone? And another thing that I don't quite agree with is everybody calling Vincent old. Yes, yes, I know he's old, year-wise, but you guys are forgetting a couple things. First, he doesn't physically age. His body will be in it's 20's forever until he somehow manages to kill himself.... Secondly, he spent 30 years asleep in a coffin. He was really living, or maturing, mentally wise. Sure he was doing penace, but I believe that those 30 years don't really count. He didn't age and he didn't experience anything that mature him anymore than he already was..... I believe that even though he knew how old he was, he wasn't really that old. I think he followed Cloud out of the mansion with a mindset of a man who was still in his twenty's.... ^_^ But eh, this is only my belief.... I'm not trying to push it on anyone^^;;
