If you're new to Dreams Come True, then this post covers the same basics that my thread in the Services Forum covers. Basically, it is my mission to help gaians get the items that they want without worrying about having to go on a long quest to get them. So, let's just lay down the basics:


:Arrow: Getting started:

Nothing comes for free. As much as we gaians wish that was the case, it's not. So what is the catch that comes along with me putting a hold on your item? And how does it work? Simple. You PM me with the following form:

Item Desired:
Max. Price:


At which point, I will put you on the waiting list. If I have the funds required for the item you want, it will be purchased immediately from the marketplace at the lowest price currently available. However, the lowest price I find may not be the lowest price you saw when you sent me the form. Which is what the "Max Price" field is for. For example: Your item was 25k at the lowest yesterday and you said that you would pay a max of 30k for it, and I find it for 26k, I'll go ahead and purchase the item for you and charge it to your account. If, however, the item jumped price and is 35k, I'll PM you asking if you still want the item or not. Then you can decide to wait and put it off for later or have me go ahead and buy it. It's that easy. I'm on almost every day, so I should be able to get to you asap.

arrow Paying for the item:

Ah yes, paying for the item I've put on hold for you. Essentially, what I'm doing is buying your item for you and then holding onto it while you pay me back. I do charge a small interest (.1% or 1G for every 1k) every day on the balance that is charged to your account. For example: You put on hold a 26k item. I then charge 26 gold to your account. The more you pay on an item, the lower the interest is! So it's a good idea to have some money saved up when you put a hold on the item. Also, if I am unable to buy your item, it helps if you have extra money to add in. For example: I have 45k to use to buy your item. The item you want, however, is 60k. If you have the extra 15k to buy your item, I will be able to purchase your item. Not only that, but you will have a 15k jump start on your hold!

arrow Getting your item or getting a refund:

Alright, so you're putting out all this gold and you don't have your item. Well, I'm not going to give you your item before you pay it off. You could run off with it. How can you trust me? Well, I've been around for a long time, and I am very dedicated to gaia. It wouldn't be worth getting banned and losing all my gold and items for your money. If you don't want to trust me, that's fine, if you do, then as soon as your balance is paid off, I will give you your item.

But what if you find yourself not wanting that item anymore? Or you just can't find a means to pay it off? No worries. Simply PM me and request a refund. No form is required, just ask for a refund. I will return all the money you paid to me, excluding the interest, and you can go on your merry way. For example, you put a hold on an item, give me 14k for it, 1k of which was for the interest. When you ask for a refund, you will receive 13k because 1k of that money is interest.

arrow Policy on forgotten items:

So you got carried away with school or overwhelmed at work or with a social life. Your item sits all by itself, unpaid for and utterly forgotten. What happens to it? Well, sadly, it could get sold. Once your item is charged to your account, you are responsible for paying that item off. I require that you at least make contact every so often so I know that you haven't fogotten about it. If I don't hear from you at all (payments, activity in the guild or the thread) in a period of 30 days, I will PM you informing you that you have an item that is charged to your account. You have a week to respond to this notice before it is sold. If your item is sold, I'll still reinburse you for any money you sent to me. If you did not pay on it at all, you will OWE me the interest your account acquired. This is a business. When you send me the form to hold your item, you are entering an informal contract with me. You are bound by that contract, whether or not you read all the rules, to pay me.
