Only moments later, Alice had managed to get herself, and anyone who may have been following her, lost within in the depths of what seemed to be the city slums. Broken pieces crumbled off deteriorating buildings, and a layer of dust seemed to lay an inch thick upon every surface. Though the city was large, there was suprisingly little street life, no homeless wandering around save a few dressed in ragged clothing. But then, it was late, and Alice was quite drunk.

Still, it fit her heart and mind at the current moment, shattered and lost, so to her, it was a perfect escape, even though she hadn't been searching for it.

Glancing back to the girl(s) behind her, she gave a weak smile and shrugged as if to say - Oh well.

"So tell me about yourself." She began in a slow, melancholy manner, never specifying to whom she spoke.

Lindly smiled back, "Well, I already told you I own a place somewhere, that way" she pointed in a direction.

She was kind of used to the slums and how everything was there, not that she made it a habit to go there.. There was a bar that she liked though. They had weird things.. But they were fun. She smiled, "but I can move things and make them pretty!" she said, not noticeing what she said.

Then she knoticed someone behind her that wasn't the girl in the bar, "Hi!" she exclamed in her excitement, "Who are you?"

She took only one bumbling step towards them, staying close to Alice incase...

Rafe, noticing that they had looked behind and was looking at her apprehensively, stepped forward a bit and raised his hand in greeting. "Hey all, sorry to scare you but the barkeep said you all'd be wandering around here, and seeing as I have nothing better to do... well, figured I'd tag along. I'm Rafe, by the way." She held out her hand, wondering if she seemed friendly enough, and unconciously glanced up at the moon. 'Half full... good.'

"Dunno, I thought you guys would have some idea."

She nodded to the obvious leader of the group, the one who seemed to have gotten them the most lost. "So, it's alright if I join? Sorry I'm not drunk, but it takes a lot to get me there." She downed the last half of her drink, which she had noticed the barkeep had spiked more than the first one, and stumbled slightly. "Though this seems to be trying..."

"Yeah? I'll come then. You seem like the fun one."

Noticing a glare, she smiled. "I kid, I kid. Soo... any one want to say something interesting? Or does anyone know a bar around here? I'll accept answers to both, although I'd like to know a little about you all."

"We are... that is... damn, that's a really good question." She looked around, taking in the sparse scenery. "Well, I assume if we start walking, we'll figure it out eventually." She swept her hand out in a 'you go first' gesture.

"Well YEAH, I got that. The question is, where in the slums are we? And I WISH something interesting was happening. It was almost more interesting back in the bar, and that's cause the barkeep had no problem adding more vodka to my mix."
