Loosing a cat is always hard. But the best way to honor them is not to forget them but to talk about them, this thread is for posting bios about the cats you've lost, and for talking about the good times you had with them.
This thread isnt just for if you've had a cat pass away, but also if you've lost a cat had to surrender a cat.

I'll start us out- Name: Puff Age: about 6 months gender: Female Breed: Main coon/ unknown Personalty: She loved to talk..cuddle with me and her brother and she loved to play. Story of how we lost her: We had both her and her brother Fluff for about 4 months back in 2000...then one day my parents decided they couldnt handle two kittens and decided to get rid of both. Puff and fluff were close. Really close,they were always with each other. and when I found out they were being seperated I begged my mom to try and find them a home together but she said no. I still remember the day fluff went to his new home. Puff looked everywhere for him, going through the house meowing(crying) I was in tears as well because I saw how sad she was without him...and I was torn up that my kitten had been taken away. The next day Puff was taken to her new home. I heard sadly from my mom she passed away shortly after being taken to her new home. My mom disagrees but I believe it was a broken heart. pic:  -------------- Name: Fluff Age: about 6 months Gender: Male Breed: Main coon/unknown Personality: Laid back, not so fond of being held, loved to play. Story: Same as Puffs...he died as well sadly a few months later after going to his new home. She 'hated' the kittens we got but I would catch her playing with them when she thought no one was looking. Story: I got her on my 13th birthday. The exact day. I had volentered at the shelter for a while before and I was drawn to her. We went to get a cat since months before I my baby Freeway had dissapered. I had her for three years and I wont ever forget her. She was an indoor outdoor cat, and one night she didnt come home. I hope wherever she is she's happy. I miss her alot because she was there and listened to every problem I had. Pic:

Names: Shadow, Snickers and Casper
age: about 6 months
gender:all three are female
Breed: mixed
Personality: All three were playfull. Casper was a bit distant though, snickers was sweet but VERY timid. and Shadow just loved people and was a lap kitten.
Story: we got these three sisters from a friend of ours, in 2003 We had them for about 3 months before they started to pee on things. Instead of trying to train them to do otherwise my mom insited on taking them to the pound. I dont know what ever came of them. I just hope they found good homes.
pic:Sadly I dont have any pictures of them. Casper was pure black. Shadow was pure grey and snickers was grey with white paws, and a white nose.

Gender: Male and female
Breed: Tabby
Personality: Lynx was very outgoing and into everything. Often I'd find him scaling the curtins. Storm was Timid around everyone but me, she was also very small.
Story: We got them from the same friend we got shadow,casper and snickers from..in about 2002. We had them for a bout a month and then they stared to pee on things. so my mother gave them away.

Breed: Norwigan Forest cat
Personality: Very friendly most of the time, disliked most meat, loved veggies. and her adopted kitten Henry. Loved to sleep on the very top of the door frames.
Story: My dad got her in 1996 from a guy giving them away in front of a safeway. She was the ugliest kitten ever, patches of fur were missing her tail was bare, she looked like a rat. She grew up to be the most beautiful cat. We moved from tacoma to washougal in 1998 and the landlord didnt know we had a cat, he saw her in the window the day after we moved in and left a note saying either the cat goes or we do. So we took her to a no kill shelter down the street. I visited her often. We had every intention of getting her back when we paid the pet deposit. But two days before my mom was going to go get her someone adopted her. I was heartbroken.

Breed: mixed (white and grey)
Personality: Annoying XD he was everywhere in everything, annoying mekie whom treated him like her own kitten even though he wasnt.
Story: I dont remember when exactly we got him, it was shortly after we moved to Tacoma. He had one near death experience, when he scaled the curtains and his collar caught on the hook and he was choking..it was so scary after that they never wore collars again. When we decided to move back to washougal...My mom said we could only keep one cat and it was going to be Mekie so we took Henry to the shelter before we moved. He was adopted as soon as he was brought in.

I lost a cat, because my stupid neighbor killed it. I don't know much about the cat, she was young and bright red. It was a stray cat... I don't want to talk about it anymore...

Name:Stormy Age:2 years Gender:Female Personlity:Shy StoryWell,Stormy was a stray cat that I often took care of^^One day when I came home from school my brother told that Stormy's leg was badly twisted.I didn't believe him at first but when I walked to where Stormy was laying her leg was,indeed,twisted.It really hurted me inside to see Stormy injured so I ran in the house and cried.My father was getting ready to take our dog(lab)Outside when he shouted."Your cat's on the porch."I went out to see Stormy limping towards me.I asked my sister(Julia)to help me carry her in the barn.We took really good care of Stormy the next few days.I tried my best not to cry but it was really hard.I cleaned her leg,gave her medicine and watched her carefuly.Mom said she called a vet that would offer to fix Stormy's leg.So I wrapped her in a blanket and got inside the car.The drive to the vets was quiet,I was afraid this would be the last time I would see her again.Once we took her to the vets the lady took Stormy into a room.Minutes later the lady came back and said,"Your cat looks as if she was caught in a trap.We can't put the bone back in place and her leg nerves shut down.The only way we could help your cat is by removing her hind leg.It'll cost around $300." My parents at the time were having money trouble,which led to one choice.Mom said to put Stormy to sleep.The lady nodded and apoligized for what happened.After Stormy was put to sleep weeks went by.I'm still very sad about about Stormy's death,she was like a little sister to me.I can't talk straight about Stormy's death,each time when I reach the vet part I always begin to cry.I will always honer Stormy^-^ Picture:I took the picture when Stormy was near two years old^^She was inside our house so I decided to take a pic of her....

sweatdrop i dont know alot about my old cat, but i was 1 when we got her and she died when i was about 7. Well...Her name was Miss Kitty. She was grey. I dont know her breed. Um she was a female. She wasnt fixed. She had a litter of kittens before we got her. and thats all i know about her. lol srry. sad sweatdrop

well i have lost many many cats ill start with the oldest and work my way with what i remember.
Pia-black and white- 18 human years old-female.(died)
Kit-Cat- orange,black,grey,white.-1 human year-female. (ran away)
Togepi-Tabby- 6 human years-male. (ran away)
Tigger-grey striped-17- human years-male. (died)
Jigglypuff-grey striped-3 human years-male.(hit by a car.)
Gary-persin-a few months-male.(ran away)
Piggie-unknown-a few days-male.(gave to my older-half-sister)
There were a few kittens that we have lost or given away and a few that i had for a day and my parents put them outside and left.
blaugh it's all good tho.

Story(if you wish to share it) of what happened to your cat. or how you got it.: I got my cat off my best friend and I had him for about 5 years and he absolutly ROCKED I miss him sooooo much. He dissapered for about a week (he did that about once every six months when he went hunting) but this time he didnt come back and we found him about 3 houses up from us dead. I've had quite a few cats leave us.....But there was one that didn't like us, and we didn't really like her much either...

Age: 6 monthes(when he died)

Personlity: hyper-active
Story(if you wish to share it) of what happened to your cat. or how you got it.: My friend's cat had kittens, and I brought one home. My mom saw him when she came home and told us to get rid of him before she got back from grocery shopping, but she came home with kitten food and some toys for him. We wound up keeping him til he died. Tyger was a very hyper-active cat, who insisted on living in both the indoor world and the outdoor world. He made friends easily, and was quite rebellious. When he tried to bring his buddies inside to play, we would not allow it. So he would take off, with a few cats following, and not return until morning, when he was hungry and we were his food source. The whole neighbourhood knew him, and upon sight, the kids would run up to him crying out his name. And he loved it. Older children would ride their bikes around, and Tyger would run alongside until a few houses down from ours, then go back up and wait for them.
One day, my mom was taking me to school, I saw him in the neighbour's driveway. The last thing I had ever said to him was "Bye Tyger! Seeya after school!" But instead of seeing him, we had the dreadful phonecall from my mom's boyfriend, saying that he had been hit by a car, in front of the elementary students boarding the morning schoolbus.

Personlity: anti-social, didn't like us....very snobbish.
Story(if you wish to share it) of what happened to your cat. or how you got it.: Cuddles was given to us by a neighbour who was moving and couldn't keep her. She didn't like us at all, and peed on our stuff. The last straw was when she peed on my mom's leather work bag. So we surrendered her to the SPCA, in hopes that she would find a home with people she liked.

Story(if you wish to share it) of what happened to your cat. or how you got it.: My brother use to work for dominos, during one of his deliverys he heard a meowing and found a kitten so tiny he could fit in your hand. My family didn't think he would survive the night but I didn't have any doubt. We figured his age around 3-4 weeks old.
My grandma and I decided to give him a bath but he was so tiny she couldn't hold him and wash him so I held him. After his bath we were drying him and there was so much dirt on the towl that we decided to give him a second bath and he was still dirty after that. He was the best cat ever, I even had him leashed trained and he would eat on command. When he was little he couldn't jump and didn't learn how until we got another cat.
Well, I was an idiot and left to stay with some friends. Without giving him a proper goodbye I left and a few weeks later I decided to call my mom for no reason, at the same time she left me a voice message and I didn't know. He had gotten out and was hit and killed by a car.
I know I was his favorite person and he was my baby. Now my new cat is injured and I'm trying really hard not to cry.

Personality:Kind,gentle,happy all the time,playful sometimes,lazy,friendly,a lil curiose,protective,dependant,alert
story:My first cat Shadow(who is alive 2day)had kittens 7 times now,(she needs to be spayed)in her first litter she had 3 kittens,2 twin tabbys and one big black&white fat kitten.That kitten was Fat Loie.He looked just like the cat of of"princacss diaries".He was the best!Every night he'd sleep on my bed and if anyone came in my room he wouldn't take his eyes of of them until they left,it was like he was protecting me.I was his favorite person,my mom's Shadow's fave person.I loved Fat Loie so much.He was so nice.He'd follow me everywhere.When I was at school he'd be my mom's compamy.When ever someone would walk in the house he'd greet them.Fat Loie never went outside b4,when ever shadow(his mom/mate)would go outside he'd stand at the door crying with his loud long meows.Fat Loie was always happy,and it was amazing that u could actually see a smile on his face.Fat Loie even smiled when he was very sick,and that sickness lead to his death...Fat Loie stayed in the basement for days.He was just laying there on the basement floor,he didn't move at all,he wouldn't eat.We said we'd take him to the vet,but when my mom came home it was too late...My mom was the last person to see him alive,she was holding him and he was still smiling and then he just died in my mom's arms.Even if we took Fat Loie to the vet earlier it still would have been too late.Fat Loie mostlikely had feline Lucimia.Feline Lucimia can only be stopped very early,Fat Loie must have been born with it.I know about lucimia from reading about it in 5th grade.We buried Fat Loie on the side of our house,we put him in a box wraped up with plastic.Well there it is,the death of Fat Loie...I had a time when I belived that Fat Loie would be reancarnated into on of Shadow's kittens,I think it did happena a few times but we didn't keep any of Shadow's kittens after Fat Loie's death.He was the only kitten we did keep and look at how it ended up...
