Well? How? =D And exactly... how has it affected your life?
I found out about MCR by downloading music (had no clue it was illeagal then). I had heard about it and typed it in....Then downloaded a few songs and I'm like...'Ho shiz, this stuff is awesome!Then I became obsessed.Then I became a fan.And now I think I love them way too much for healthy standards!

i heard helena on the radio,went out and bought bullets,became totally,completely obsessed,searched them on the internet, then about a year- later i got three cheers for sweet revenge,fell more in love, then this year i got the black parade and MCR is basically the center of my music world.

i looked under my bed and there they were.... xd j/k
actually i heard you know what they do to guys like us in prison and i called my friend Chelsea and she told me it was a band called my chemical romance and i bought their cds and i have loved them ever since.

the summer after 6th grade[im in 8th now] my best friend chips,who i remet the year before,came over to my house.he had jacob's MCR CD.he wanted me to burn it for him.while i did,we listened to it.i heard helena,which i somewhat knew.then im not okay[i promise],once again semi knew.jacobs fave was cemetary drive,so he let me hear that.we listened to others i cant remember.then i said,burn it for me.
"but you only barely know 2 songs"
"so.ill learn.just burn it"
[paraphrasing!]
then he did.it became my obsession to learn every song & to gather tons of pics of them. then i discovered their first CD.then i was all knowing.lol im jk.but thats how.

I have this thing where I go into the indie record store near my house, pick up a CD, without even knowing who it is, and I buy it.
I went in there in 2002/2003...can't quite remember.
and the manager came up to me and said these guys sound like [so and so band I used to listen to till they broke up]
so I was like 'yeah sure i'll buy it'
and I fell in absolute love
