Drow seem to be such a big part of Forgotten Realms (mustly probually just because of Drizzt) in anycase, some people seem obsessed with them, I know I know my share of Drow fanboys <.<
one thing I always thought was funny was how Drow fanboys always seem to want 'to 'meet' a female drow' don't they relize that a female Drow would likely kill them?! wheather because they just aren't drow, or even because they're male all the same, I would think people that like Drows so much would know relize that sort of thing <.<

True enough. They probably just like the concept of meeting a real drow, especially if they're fans of 'em, though ignoring the consequences. Though I think the Drow are awesome, and would love to be able to actually see them, I wouldn't want to get near or talk to them. At least not without heavy restraints.

Fangirls aren't much better (I should know, I am one. ^_^). We all want to meet a male drow, though we've got it easier with Jarlaxle and Drizz't, since neither of them are likely to kill you. At least, not immediately.
Any other drow I'd be happy to see from a distance, so long as they weren't heading my direction.

Psh, don't be such a spoilsport. Drow women are, after all, the ultimate dominatrixes. ;D

Lord Icefang Psh, don't be such a spoilsport. Drow women are, after all, the ultimate dominatrixes. ;D mabie that's saying something about Drow Fanboys sweatdrop also, another thing I was wondering about whenever a male drow discribes a female drow, it's usually along the lines of the female being clearly bigger and stronger then the male using Drizzt as a model, male drow don't seem any smaller and/or weaker then humans, so does that make female drow huge and musculer? confused

They probably want to meet a female because they are "boys" and the females are described as beautiful as all the elf races go. The muscularity could be a turn on too. For example some guys I know could not get over this chick from the Biggest loser. Jordan was one of the work out directors and she was quite muscular. The muscular figure in a woman isn't like it is in a man obviously, and can excentuate her appearance giving her an independent strong willed look. But some could just be kinky.

The being mentally tortured and physically beaten can change a perspective. sometimes the beatupee sees the person in a different light. When someone is on the floor writhing in pain they often get the idea that this guy is kicking the snot out of me he/she is bigger and stronger than I am. But don't listen to me I just ramble and have nothing of great importance to say.

Smaller even than standard elven races. Which would make the females about the same size as a human. Drizzt may be taller than most, or more likely, he just gets drawn that way.

And drow are lighter built than humans in general.

Direct those drow fanboys & Girls toward "Children of Chaos (A Drow Guild)" It's a guild about Drow (obviously) and has an RP city.

And drow are lighter built than humans in general. Exactly drow are honestly about the same height as dwarves but its not just the way the draw Drizzit. We have to assume is is about the size of a human because that's how they wrote him from his interaction with surface elves to the way he picks up and carries Cattiebrie into mithril hall and they don't mention his height. Some drow are just odd though like Ryld from the war of the spider queen series it clearly say's he is larger then most females and wider as well I think we was about the size of at all human and about as thick as wulfgar maybe a little less.
