1st Post :: What The Heck Is This "Claiming" Thing?
OK, I know some of you are probably wondering what the heck this is about. But, have no fear, for I shall try my best to explain it in an understandable way.... Try being the keyword. blaugh sweatdrop
Basically, any member of this Guild may "claim" up to ten (10) characters. When I say "characters", I mean any FICTIONAL character from any work of FICTION (except fan fiction or fan art). Any character from any book, movie, video game, anime, manga, TV show... you name it.
However, a character can only be claimed by ONE person (and by person, I mean "Guild member").
So, let's say that you want to claim Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. If he is already on someone else's claimed list, then.... you guessed it! You can't have him! (Wow, that sounded really fangirl-ish.) But, if he isn't on anyone else's list, feel free to request that he be on your list!
But yeah, there are, like, BILLIONS of different characters to choose from, so try not to get too heart-broken if the character you want is already taken.
To request a character and/or change the characters on your list, please post a message in this thread with all the info I'm gonna need (the characters' names, where they come from).
Also, please try to spell the names and such correctly, because there's chance that I might not have heard of the character/s you are requesting, so I will be blissfully ignorant as to whether or not the name/s need fixing or not.... Yeah, just be aware of that, please.
This thread is for Claims stuff ONLY. Please stay on-topic (only character requests or questions about the Claims, and stuff like that). It's Ok to chat about the claims a bit, too, though.
Anyway, there are a few other rules, but I won't bring them up unless they become necessary.
