Guidelines01) If you have someone who you think should be a member, immediately let one of the moderators know. We want to get as many members as possible. 02) Donate if possible. While this might seem like throwing your cash away, in the future there will be guild enhancements, and these will cost. We’re not asking for a lot, but 50 or 100 every once in awhile would be nice. MegaManJuno 03) Role-playing threads should follow the standard format so that everyone will know at first glance that the thread in question is indeed a role-playing thread. The standard format will follow this template: RP: For example, take our first RP thread in the AA: RP: Psiko Story 1People who are not interested in role-playing here can then avoid these threads since they will be clearly marked as such, while also pointing out the fact that it is a role-playing thread to those who are interested. 04) Item/gold begging in this guild is highly discouraged. There is a charity forum on Gaia dedicated entirely to these types of requests, so please make use of it if you feel you must beg for items/gold.

arrow Added RP thread format to the guidelines since it seems we have agreed upon the format. Also added the change date to the thread title. If we update the rules or guidelines, changing this date will let people know that something has been changed within the rules, guidelines, or both (meaning they'll need to re-read the first page to see the changes).
If any of the other mods feels that this addition should be moved to the rules section (meaning omitting the format would then be a "punishable" offense) then feel free to do so.

Personally, now that I'm thinking of it, I am considering locking this thread and clearing out the "chaff" messages that really have nothing to do with the rules, guidelines, or updates. Honestly, in my opinion, only the crew really needs to be able to update this thread anyway due to the nature of it.
I'm not going to lock it and delete any posts unless we have a majority vote between the crew... or a total lack of response within say a week long period (you know, the old "silence is consent" deal).
...so, if you have something to say about it, voice your opinions by next Monday (13th).

Well, I was already volunteering myself for the task of cleaning up this thread, since I was the one who mentioned the locking/cleaning of it... Hell, I'm unemployed, so I have the free time... sweatdrop gonk

Yes well... one of the things I have noticed about AA and IA, is that we can never stay on topic, being around people who don't care if you stay on topic is one of the things I like about AA. I am almost sure I am going to be outvoted, but I think random Chat is always a good thing...

I am almost sure I am going to be outvoted, but I think random Chat is always a good thing... Random chat is OK... it's just *this* thread I am referring to... the remaining ones would be unaffected... Basically, I think we need 1 thread dedicated to guild news, rules, guidelines, and a place for the crew to discuss these things. In that context, only the crew really needs access to post to it (which we can do even when it's locked, obviously).

You wouldn't want the announcements forum to get cluttered up, wouldja?

Well, I guess that makes 4 of us out of the 7 total Captain + Crew members... so, I guess we have a majority vote then. 3nodding
I'll hold off deleting anything for a few days to give anyone who would (for some reason) like to copy and save any of the text in the messages that will be purged, although the lock is now in effect. 3nodding
