Every day...when a girl wakes up, she cleanses herself, gets dressed, eats breakfast, then slides on her backpack and runs out the door, shouting out her goodbyes to her mother, her father, her sister, her brother, and her cat and dog. Then after school, she would usually chat to her friends about the plans they are going to do over the weekends. But in a certain place, a certain girl lives a certain life, but not in a certain world. She seems like any other red haired, green eyed, teenager that would hang out with her girlfriends, flirt with her guyfriends, and simply have fun. No. Her life is much more different. Her family includes twenty brothers and sisters, her house has more than thirty rooms, her garden is over one hundred acres, she has no parents. When a person hears about someone like her, the first thing they think is, "wow...what a lucky person...she must be really spoiled and sellfish..." Unfortunately, they are incorrect...her twenty borthers and sisters are not hers, the thirty rooms in her house do not belong to her, her garden is over one hundred acres but she cannot walk far into it, and her parents...are simply...dead. The name of her house? "Jenaida's Shelter for the Blind and Deaf."
Jade Jenaida is the female heir to her family's great fortune. For over 200 years, the Jenaida family owned a shelter made for kids that were blind and deaf. Families who couldn't take care of blind or deaf children sadly left their children at the mansion, but they never regret it. The Jenaida Shelter was famous for the warm welcomes, the friendly dinners, and the intellegent workers and volunteers, who all had to know how to talk in sign language, who help out every day. Unfortunately, not a lot of people volunteered anymore, but that was OK, Jade had more help then she would ever need. Her best friend, Patrice Dennings, helps her out with the children in the mornings when Jade is off at school, then she goes to her clubs, bars, and parties with her college friends when Jade comes back home. Her life was busy, she struggles with a lot of work. Getting good grades at school, finding good colleges, doing housework around the huge mansion, and taking care after twenty people, blind and deaf, young and old. Even though her life is tough, she was content, she loved the children and senior citizens she and Patrice took care after, and they all loved her.
But one day, Jade sees a long limosine pulled up, a little girl was standing by the door. Apparently, she was dropping off her brother here, because he was blind. When Jade saw the little girl's brother, she gasped. He was gorgeous, simply gorgeous.
Myaka (the little girl) ran up to the boy with a gleam of sadness in her eyes. "This is my brother, Morthanos Elric Whatina."
"Morthanos Elric Whatina"...she repeated very faintly under her breath. The sound felt good on her tongue, what a complicated and unique name that was. Myaka gave Morthanos a goodbye hug with tears falling down her face. "Good-bye, Mew, I promise I'll visit every weekend! Starting Tomorrow!" She said sorrowly as she walked to her limosine and waited for the man in the suit to open the door for her and drive her home. As soon as they were gone, Jade looked at Morthanos. An awkward silence doomed upon them like a curse from a witch. Not wanting to stay outside any longer, she opened her mouth to say something, when all of a sudden.
"JADE! You're back home! I'm so happy to see you!" Parice suddenly burtsed out from the door and inviting Jade into a huge tackle hug. It's not that Patrice did not like being around with the kids, she loved it, but man, does she need to get out! She turned to Morthanos and straightened herself up. "How do you do? I'm Patrice Dennings and this is Jade Jenaida."
Morthanos grunted.
Patrice suddenly made a frown but it instantly turned into a smirk when she saw Jade's red face. Already jumping to conclusions, she took Morthanos bags and brought them inside. "A cute and lonely boy and my best friend blushing, it's already the perfect drama movie!" She thought in her head as she came back out. "I have decided that I will stay here tonight to welcome...welcome..."
"Morthanos..." Morthanos replied vaguely.
"Morthanos, to welcome Morthanos." Patrice repeated. "Come on, let's go!"
"Patrice.." Jade finally opened her mouth. "You really don't have to..."
"What do you mean? It's a new person! Of course I have to!" Patrice interrupted. "Now let's get going, everybody is waiting for you!"
Jade just stared at the door as Patrice went inside. Patrice usually was eager to get out of the house so she can go out with her friends and drink, but suddenly deciding to stay just like that, something must have been going on in her dense head again. Jade sighed and grabbed a hold of Morthanos's arm to lead him in. He felt very warm...it was like hugging her mother for the very first time. But that warmth suddenly turned into a flash of pain and extremely cold on her back. She could not believe what just happened.
"Get your hands off of me, I can take care of myself!" Morthanos suddenly screamed out. Jade gasped at this sudden outburst.
"Excuse me!?" Jade screamed back. No one was going to talk to her that way!
"You heard me..." Morthanos growled, and walked into the house.
Jade could not believe this! How dare he!? Walking into her house and following Morthanos, she was scared. for the first time in her life, she might be dealing with someone that might not cooperate and love her like the others do...

(But with regular clothes.)
