Okay, tell us a little about what animal you are and how.
I'm a fox therian. As long as I've known what a therian was I've known that that was what I am. I've had dreams where I was a fox, or where a fox came to me as a spiritual gaurdian and helped me find my way. I have a phantom tail and ears which I can feel some times, and every now and again I feel fox-like, like the animal in me is begining to take over.

I swear there's been a thread for this sort of thing in every Otherkin guild I've been in.
Except this one. XD
Anywho, I'm a wolf, as far as I know. I too sorta 'knew' as soon as I knew there was such a thing as therianism. It came to me inexplicably, simply, and sweetly. Just the knowledge. Man, what I would give for that sort of certainty in everything. >>; Anyway. I'm rambling. Yeah. I've actually never had a wolf-related dream. My dreams are screwy. I'll just get completely random circumstances that make me go "Whaaaa? D:" in the daytime. I have sorta 'flickering' phantom limbs - MY tail and ears come and go, but my wings are pretty much there whenever I begin to sense for them. (As a sidenote, my tail is unusually long and poofy for a wolf. I have no idea what is wrong with me.) My wings aren't part of my wolf-side, really, they're just there. -shrugs- I'm fine with who I am, and that won't change. <3 Rufu

In short, I'm a domestic black cat with two pairs of small (like really small compared to others' D<) feathered wings.
I've explained this story of mine countless times, but I don't mind it too much. :3 I'll just try to make it short this time.
First of all, I was introduced to the idea of otherkin, and being obsessed with dragons at the time, convinced myself I was dragonkin. I loved it, but through and through I thought I was decieving myself. With my awakening, I felt a tail, ears, and wings though, so that was quite odd for me.
I sorta forgot about it all for some amount of months.. and soon again looking back on the idea from curiosity of it all.
Blah blah, meditated a lot, researched a bit about some animal's behavior, compared it to myself.. all that 'fun' stuff. In the end, I concluded I was a cat, though I didn't even like cats at the time. confused I liked dragons and wolves a lot more, cats were lowly and tiny creatures, not powerful, not as cool.
But eh.. just stuck with me. I love cats now, it's kind of like figuring out I was gay but that period of time I had to go through to accept it completely too.
Those ears, wings, tail I felt when I thought I was dragonkin? Not draconic after all. I felt my ears and tail again after awakening the second time, and wings soon after. My wings confused me further, but I simply concluded they were just wings and that was that. No trying to figure out why I have them or anything, way too confusing and it leads to nothing every time I try to think about it.

Edit: I don't dream shift.. Only time I was a cat in a dream, it was lucid.

Comfort the Disturbed------ well, i'm a winged feline. i guess you could say i always sort of "knew" but i had no clue how to express it. it wasn't until i was introduced to the idea of otherkin that i could make sense of those feelings.
i've always had a phantom tail, but now my phantom ears are constant too, as are my phantom wings. the wings are confusing, but that's okay, i'll figure them out eventually. ------Disturb the Comfortable

Well, I've always been rather hyper and add, but lots of people are hyper. I dunno, I've just always felt connected with squirrels for as long as I can remember. My nick name's been Squirrel since nineth grade. My friend Kat named me, and now every one calls me that.

Oooh! I had a dream about a squirrel recently! A few of them actualy. Awwww! It was such a cute squirrel, and it wasn't afraid of me. I made friends with a squirrel once, it even let me pet it. but then it slapped me and ran away. Awww, that made me sad. I named it Baby. I fed it a pancake once. Well, part of a pancake. I like pancakes.
I have a phantom tail. It's fluffy. And curly. It makes me loose my balance some times, because I'm trying to make up for a tail that isn't realy there.
Did you know there's a Squirrel Mafia? I'm in it! It's fun! Wheeeeeee!

I realy like wolves for some reason. I don't know if I'm part wolf- therian or not. I used to think so, but I dunno. I just like wolves.

I'm a jaguar therian and shifter-kin. I was more or less born knowing it, though I never really looked into or labeled it until I was ~14. That's when I first found the kin community. I went through a lot of trouble trying to find out just what I was... I thought I was dragonkin for a long time, but no... Then I thought I was kitsune-kin, but, though that was closer, that wasn't right either... Then I went through what sounded like a wishkin stage - you know, the werecat/dragon/mermaid/horse/vampire/faerie types. My phantom limbs were confusing the heck out of me. They were... any/everything. All kinds of different wings, tails, horns, ears, paws, feet, etc. So I thought that I must then be... more or less everything. Turns out it wasn't entirely wishful as those were all past lives of mine, but I was calling my shots wrong.
Finally, after a lot of setbacks and issues, I figured it out. It also explained why I thought I was so heavily multi-kin. Shifter-kin/werejaguar! sweatdrop Took me long enough to figure that one out, but no complaints. I really like who and what I am.

My theriotype (which is less awkward than saying "the form of my soul") is a falcon, although until about a year ago it was uncl;ear what kind. Through a series of D-shifts, in which I was visited by a white eagle of sorts, it became apparent that it was a gyrfalcon. I "awoke" to my therianthropy almost six years ago now, and I've been studying it lately, mostly with a newly awakened Therian who i hope to see here soon. What I'm tryin g to figure out is the effect of awakening on any shifts you may have had before.

I'm a white tiger-kin. I only awakened about six month to a years ago, not a hundred percent sure.((Uber short memory)) At first I though I was dragon-kin, but that was only because I felt more natural when my nails were long, like claws, and because I felt my wings all the time. But after a lot of reserching otherkin I finally figured out that I'm a white tiger. The thign that finally clicked it into place was the part about"Having a connection with your otherkin animal." I've always had a connection with white tigers and though I like dragons, it wasn't really the same feeling as I got for White tigers. I've come to the conclusion that I'm part angel-kin through a series of memories from my past life. which ironically, seems to have been about two thousand years ago. But that explains why I have six wings.

Dragon
Blue scales, small and close fitting, more like skin really, but definitely scales, approximately 20 feet from tailtip to nosetip.
closest to me i've found appearance wise is the welsh depiction of the dragon, but my wigs are a tad more forward and my body is longer, and the head's bone-crown is long and back, somewhat pterodactal like.

I've always had a very close bind with felines, and for a while thought I was a lion. However, it turned out that the Lion was simply a spirit guide who was trying to show me my true self.
