Mist surrounds you tread along blindy, oblivious to the hole that lay ahead. You feel your feet fly out from under you as you fall into the pit, dirt lodging on you. A huge and seemingly endless labyrinth lays before you as you stare in awe at one Tocou's work over many years. This is the home of Skellington, Kuzimu, and their children. Beware... here, everything goes BUMP in the night.

Skellington laid down a huge, fuzzy bearskin inside the fence made of bones he had built. He had come across the blanket inside the human camp, right after he had been cursed. Memories flooded through his mind; meeting Kuzimu, falling in love, having kids... all the good stuff. He continued working on the pen, using bones to create a fence around the eggs. He stood back to admire his work, placing two of the eggs down onto the furry mat.

Kuzimu returned from an outing in the woods, she had found a complete skeleton of what looked like a male deer, antlers and all. It would be a nice addition to their home. The skeleton walked beside her, bones creaking occasionally as she made her way through the maze. It wasn't as familar to her as it was to Skellington, but she was getting used to finding her way through it.
Eventually she found Skellington and the pen, "Hey there." She said with a smile, "Nice pen, I like it." She remarked, walking over to the other two eggs and setting them next to their future siblings. "Look what I found!" She said exitedly, pointing at the buck skeleton she found. "Isn't it nice? Where should we put it?"

Skellington looked up and smiled, walking over to his mate and the skeleton. "Oh, that looks splendid! Hmmmm.. I'm not sure. Where would you like to put it?" he asked. The Tocou glanced at the four eggs again, he just couldn't keep his eyes off them for some odd reason.

Kuzimu thought about it for a moment, and then sent the skeleton over to a nearby corner, and released her control over it. Since the bones were already in their natural place, they stayed together perfectly where they were. The light of a nearby candle gave the skeleton an eerie glow.
"Does that look alright to you?" She asked cheerily, looking at it from many different angles to see how it looked.

"Ooooh! That looks perfect!" Skellington said exitedly. He stared at the skeleton for a moment more before switching his gaze to Kuzimu dreamily. "I still can barely believe we're going to be parents...it makes me feel so giddy!~" Skellington sang happily, half to himself and half to his mate.

Kuzimu beamed proudly at the skeleton for a breif moment before her mate spoke, "Yes, it is rather exiting." She said with a bit of a chuckle in her voice.
"I do wonder what their powers will be, once they master them I should think this place will become even more spooky than it is now!" She said exitedly, looking at the eggs with a look of glee in her eyes.

"No kidding! This place will probably look like a living graveyard once all of us get our chance to decorate!" Skellington said. He nodded happily, fluttering up off the ground a bit with quick flaps of his wings. He was getting awfully exited, and it showed.

"Oh, I do hope we get some visitors, I'd like to see them get spooked a bit." Kuzimu said with a rougish grin, "Someday we can all go into the forest and collect spooky things together, wouldn't that make a nice family outing?"
"I wonder if any of them will have wings?" She asked curiously as Skellington flapped his. "Oh, it's so exiting!" Kuzimu purred, watching the eggs as if they could hatch at any moment.

((Sorry, had to scoot out for dinner.)) "Indeed! I remember an odd fellow wandered in here. Blind as a bat he was! Not very fun, it's hard to scare someone who's blind. Ah yes, that would be a wonderful activity, we can teach them the ropes of scaring." Skellington said, "Oooh, yes! I could give flying lessons!" He was getting quite hyper just thinking of all the wonderful possibilities! Though Halloween was over, maybe they could all give some people a scare on Chistmas. He had always thought of Chritmas to such an interesting holiday. He had to make something speacial for Kuzimu... "I wonder what the little spookies will look like..."

((That's alright, I had to scoot out for bed xd ))
"I should imagine so. Nearly all the spooky things in the world need to be seen to be really apreciated." She said with a chuckle, "Oh yes, show them what it means to be truely spooky."
Kuzimu giggled, "Flying lessons would be important, we don't want the little ones trying to fly all on their own, they could get hurt." She said with a nod.
"Oh yes, it is quite exiting." She sighed happily, walking over to the eggs and petting them each in turn with a gentle paw.

Skellington walked over and gazed lovingly at the eggs, a sparkle gleaming in his red eyes. He sighed and switched to looking at Kuzimu, a wide smile crossing his face. "They'll be lucky to have you as a mother, my angel."He said, nuzzling his mate affectionately.

Fupa for the first time, opened her eyes. It felt like her body had been forced to the size of a marble. She was begining to feel colstraphobic. The "marble" as she named it seemed thin enough to break. So she gave it a little nudge. Suddenly she felt the "marble" start to roll. She was scared so she gave it an enthusiastic bump, mabye a bit to enthusiastic. The shell broke and she tumbled onto the plush bearskin where her tail landed in front of her face. Feeling a mix of fear and excitement, she felt like she wanted to shreik! Then she spotted her tail. It looked to soothing. She decided to suck on it and her fear vanished. So she just rolled around sucking on her calming tail.

Skellington jumped startledly when one of the eggs rolled forward, staring in complete and utter shock as a cub tumbled out of its shell. He immediately froze, the surprise melting into a rapid flow of unexplainable emotions. His eyes widened greatly, hesitating before falling out. His head followed, along with his legs, arms, and tail. Soon, it was a whole mess of jumbled Skellington parts all over the floor. Curiously enough, he could still breathe.

"Oh, but not as lucky as they will be to have you for a father, dear." She said teasingly, though she gasped slightly out of surprise as her first cub hatched and her love litterally fell to pieces before her.
"Why hello there! Welcome to the world, little one. I think I'll call you Fupa. What do you think, Skellington?" She asked with a chuckle to the mass of Skellington parts beside her.
The second egg began to roll around, casually bumping into his sister accidentally. It took a bit longer for him to hatch, but before long, he was sitting beside his sister and giggling at his father.
"Eeheheheheee!" He squealed happily, attempting to reach various parts of his father through the bones of the playpen with a playful paw. "Da!"
