I'm not sure if this is spam or not, but is it true that they're remaking Final Fantasy VII for the PS3?

TheBlackPanther I'm not sure if this is spam or not, but is it true that they're remaking Final Fantasy VII for the PS3? That's a rumour but it's unconfirmed. But it's also a big rumour so there is probebly some truth in it at least. If they do remake it for PS3 the Graphics should be awesome. But then they should also considder remaking FFVIII and improving the graphics for that as well. FFVIII is a great game. It's just a shame about the Graphics.

This is completely false, SE has even come out and said they will not be remaking FF7 for the PS3. Same with 8, which makes me sad, but saves me $600. blaugh
Anyway, completely false, or at least very unlikely, so don't hold your breath for it coming out, since FF8 was supposed to be remade for the PS3.
And seriously, would updated graphics be worth the $60 for the same game that cam out several years ago? I say not...

It was a rumor that started because of the tech demo, since it featured FFVII characters in it. It was only to test the graphics of the PS3.

Actuly i think i did hear that they were planning on making FFVII for PSP. i've only just rememberd that. If PSP why not PS3 as well?

No no no! It is actually coming out! My friend was looking at a magazine in the game store and saw it. So now I have to make some money to buy a PS3 and to buy the game when it's released. I can't wait!!! blaugh

Although i have a couple of questions. 1) Arn't the PS3 first generation means not ment to work too well? 2) Are they going to update the Grapics?
