As Tia walked into Tipsy's everyone heads turned to look. None of the people turned away as they realised she was a new comer. The huntress made her way an empty seat at the bar and nodded at the bar keep.
"Scotch on the rocks if you would."
The keep smiled and within seconds she had her drink in her hand.
'Mmm...I hope my stay in this town lasts longer than the last...I can't keep running like this...' She sighed.
She downed her scotch and quickly asked for another. It was going to be a long night.

Nightingale walked into the comfortable bar and sat down a few seats away from the woman already seated. "Dead Caesar please," she murmured.
"Uh, what's a Dead Caesar?" the bartender asked and Nightingale smiled.
"I keep forgetting it is only available in certain bars," she murmured. "I'll have a rasberry daquiri, then."
When she was served she drink she sipped it slowly. She hadn't had alcohol since she received the vampire's kiss and was unsure of how it would effect her.

Tia noticed the stranger next to her and tipped her second glass to the woman before downing it again. The burn of the alcohol never bothered her, she merely like to drink it for the taste. She knew in her head that no matter how many she downed it would never quinch her thirst for blood.
The vampire couldn't help but feel a rush of anger as images started to flash before her eyes.
'Uggh..not again..'
She leaned forward on the bar and caught her head in her hand.
...a terrace...a woman...night time..great pain...
Tia shook her head as the images faded.
'Damn premonitions..'
Taken her third shot she drank it quickly and left her money. She made her exit trying not to attract to much attention.
'I know that terrace...' She thought as she made her way back towards the Four Aces Hotel.

Lady Dierdre Skye walked into the bar regally and swiftly went to a booth type place setting in the back. She delicatly sat down and waited while a waitress came over, who smiled and asked, " What can I get'cha?"
Dierdre smiled and looked at the cute girl. She was blonde, and very beautiful. "I'd like a nice glass of Red Chardoney please. If you dunnae have tha, then I'll settle for a Guinness."
Her accent painted her words beautifully as she watched the waitress walk away.

Nightingale noticed the woman tipping her glass to her and nodded, to recognize that she had seen. But before she could speak, the woman was gone after a third shot.
"Is that a York accent?" she asked softly, turning to the woman who had ordered red chardonnay. "Or Scottish?"

Dierdre looked around at the new voice. She hadn't even noticed anyone else in the building. She smiled and almost purred out her answer, "Its Scot." She nodded happily, "And Where're you from?" she asked gently. She turned and acknowleged the waitress as her drink came. She lightly took it in her hand and sipped at it. It wasn't the best she had, but it was better than some. She turned back to the other woman."Do ye mind if I come over for a sit?" she asked another question.

"I'm from Gay Paris," Nightingale said with a flourish of an accent she had long abandonned. "I may not sound it, but I grew up hearing french. And please, feel free to."

Dierdre smiled and, picking up her glass of wine, she walked sensously over. She sat and smiled again, "Thank ye."
Her accent still painted her words slightly as she talked. She almost vibrated in her excitement at the other accent. It had been long since she had heard another accent. But it probably still wouldn't hold up.
Once again she felt slight angst at the thought of the one she'd lost. Then she smiled and pushed it all away. It should be a fun night, a goodnight.
"How's life been fore ye?" she asked happily, good for a conversation.

"Life seems to take pleasure in making me as miserable as possible," Nightingale replied as she finished her daiquiri. "How has Life been treating you?"

"Ah," she said in reply simply.
She took a sip of her wine and looked at the glass reflecting the light and bouncing it to the chardonney, "It treats me as it always does.. Only I feel older now." she smiled enigmatically.
Her eyes flicked back up to the woman she sat with, her eyes dancing happily in the reflecting light.

Nightingale set her daiquiri glass on the counter and looked at the other woman. "I'm sorry, I must appear so rude," she murmured. "My name is Nightingale, what's yours?"

Dierdre blinked. How could she forget introductions? "Ah, ye must forgive me. I should have remembered" she said softly and apologetically as she set down her glass. "I'm Lady Dierdre Skye," she said to the woman who introduced herself as Nightingale, not even realizing she let her title slip in, "Its a pleasure to meet you."
She smiled slightly lazily at Nightingale and leaned back in her seat a bit, relaxing. She rarely got to do anything like this back home. She gently took her glass and finished off the chardonney.

Nightingale didn't even notice the slip of title. "he pleasure is mine, I assure you," she murmured. "If it isn't too bold of me to ask, what makes you so content?"
No, she wasn't just being nosey. Nightingale was absolutely fascinated with what made people happy. she knew that love was one of them, sex was another, but she wondered if anything other than those two simple things made everything seem so perfectly blissful.

Dierdre blinked at the question. Why was she so content. It must be the freedom she had been feeling since she left Scottland. It had been suffocating there. She knew too many people and her memories haunted her.
"Being able to Breathe" she replied simply and looked over at Nightingale, "The shear joy of being able to live." She smiled.
