It's been two hundred years since that fateful day in the heavens when Devimare and Ominious had their final showdown, which would determine the future of the three worlds, heaven, earth, and hell. Neither of the two fighters survived, leaving all three worlds unattended. Galix, the god of heaven returned to Heaven's Core after that fateful battle and began the recreation of the three worlds, and in the process naming their rulers.
Ominious, the Seraphim that gave his very life to protect Galix was reincarnated and appointed the new god of heaven.
Devimare, the tormented fallen Seraphim, was reincarned as well, but reluctantly. He was banished back to hell in order to balance to all important link between light and dark.
After his work was complete, Galix vanished. Nothing was heard of him again, and the people of earth thought him gone for good, the strain of restructuring the world being his down fall.
Both Ominious, and Deviamre, had their own seperate plans as to what they would do with earth. Problems arose when Devimare managed to put his plan into motion first.
The gateways of hell were unlocked, and earth began getting ravaged with savage demons, beast, and fallen angels. Ominious was quick to react, and sent his angels to aid the mortals, but it seemed to be in vain.
Throughout the chaos, small teams of humans, with gifts of their own, began uniting in order to aid the angels who were giving their lives. At the same time, other humans were doing the same, but to aid the underworld, fearing what may happen to them if they were caught aiding the heavens.
Knowing that complete mayhem would unleashe it too many people decided to join in on the battle, both Ominious and Devimare interveaned. A series of vortexes were opened up that tested people's loyalty. Whenever someone passed through it, depending on which side they were on, all determined their locations of landing. If they were on the side of the heavens, they would be sucked in the underworld and forced to fight their way back to a vortex that would take them back to earth. If the side they chose was the underworld, then they were taken to the heavens and had to make their way back to earth as well. For those whom were highly devoted to staying neutral, they would remain where they were, the vortex having no effect on them at all.

Characters:
Night-ReignName: Trunade Age: 19 Weapon(s): Desert Eagle, Knuckle Claws, and Long Swords Element(s): Wind and Lightning Appearance: Side: Neutral ((He follows whatever side Majora is on)) Bio: Trunade grew up a rather easy life, never having any kinds of problems that were the result of the battle between heaven and the underworld. At a young age he gained a fasination in guns and soon began practicing his marksmanship with a simple b b gun. Later in life, his desire for the close range combat came in, after seeing a person being slaughtered with the use of a heavy blade. Not being in the proper physical condition to weild one, he stuck with slender long swords instead. Also, incase his sword is out of range, Trunade also wears a pair of leather gloves that have small spikes on the knuckles. It wasn't until his childhood friend, Majora, came to him for help, did he get involved with the battle that's been taking place for so long. Now that's he in it, he's determined to aid Majora...No matter what the consiquence is. Personality: Trunade is rather laid back and easy to get along with, as long as you don't give him a reason to mistrust you that is. He's always devoted to a task that's given to him and rarely stops once he's started with an objective. Sometimes he can come off as arrogant or cold hearted, but never toward Majora.Name: Majora Age: 16 Weapon(s): Sacrid Pendant, Long Bow Element(s): Light, Healing Appearance: Side: Heaven Bio: Majora was very close to her parents ever since she was a little girl. For years, her mother, father, and her have lived in hiding because of the mayhem going on around them. Her world was brought down around here at the age of fourteen, when her parents were murdered in the process of moving to what was believed to be a safer hiding location. Majora managed to escape, but barely. Knowing that alone she would die, she decided to turn to the only person she knew would help her, Trunade. The two of them soon teamed up, and began fighting for the side of the heavens. Personality: Majora tries to be as cheerful as possible, no matter what the situation at hand is. She's always kind and often tries to help others, even if it means putting herself in danger. The loss of her parents made her somewhat unstable when it comes to her emotions, so she can sometime have a sudden expression that isn't called for.Name: Johna Age: 18 Weapon(s): Steel Plated Shoes, Steel Plated Gloves Element(s): Fire Appearance: Side: Unknown ((Heaven for the time being)) Bio: Johna grew up around danger no matter where he went, or what he did. When he was eleven, his mother was accidentally killed by an angel, and his father lost his life two years later to a fallen angel. Because of that, Johna didn't know which side to take, assuming that both were against him. During a bad run in with a fallen angel, Johna was aided by an uknown male and female, the girl healing him soon after. He later found them out to be Trunade, and Majora. Figuring that he had nothing better to do, he decided to team up with them in hopes of finding out which side was the one to perminantly choose. He's been traveling with the two of them for three months now. Personality: Johna is cocky, blunt, conceided, and extreamly determined. No matter how grim a situation is, he strives on to the end of it, even if he has a really good chance of dying by the time it's over. He makes a habit of bragging about his past fights and well he did, even if it's not all true. The only person he's ever laxed back around is Trunade, whom he's great friends with.Name: Spritz Age: 18 Weapon(s): None Element(s): Water, Ice Appearance: Side: Heaven Bio: Spritz, or Clymon, which is his birth name, grew up around pain and lonelyness. He never knew his mother, and was abused by his father on numerous accounts. He was ten years old when his father was murdered, leaving him to fend for himself. Spritz spent years wandering around in the backtracks of cities, towns, villages, and forests trying to find a safe region for him to live in. One night, while resting at a lake, he was attacked and nearly killed by a hoard of demons. With the aid of three people, he managed to survive. After introductions, he found his helpers out to be Trunade, Majora, and Johna. Wanting to remain safe, he requested the perminat traveling with them, and they accepted. Since that day, a month and a half has passed. Personality: Spritz is normally quiet, and only speaks when spoken to. The only exception is when he has an idea on what can be done to surpass a problem at hand. His voice is rather low, making it hard to hear him sometimes. He has a tendancy to stray away from new people unless given a reason to speak with, or trust them.Name: Rexterus Drakel Age: 20 Weapon(s): Pyrodronus: A sword that can harness the power of fire, 8 inch long slender needles Element(s): Fire, Metal Appearance: Side: Neutral Bio: ((TBA Maybe)) Personality: ((TBA))GermanTemper1010Name: Puer Hiems Age: 15 Weapon: none Element: Water (in all states, but especially liquid) Appearance:
Side: Neutral Bio: At the age of two, Puer's parents 'disappeared' and he was left alone, with only his seven year old sister. She soon abandoned him, and he was taken in by an elderly woman, assuming her last name shortly thereafter. As a child, he pretty much kept to himself, and he does so even more now as he found himself alone in the world once more, the woman having died but a few months ago. Personality: Puer is a taciturn boy, keeping mostly to himself. He wears only silver in white, as he feels it keeps his spirit light. He finds it amusing when he's mistaken for a girl.
Name: Flamma Lapis Age: 20 Weapon: katana, 9mm pistol, 12 gauge shotgun Element: Fire, Air Appearance:
Side: Underworld Bio: Flamma was orphaned at the age of seven, though she really can't recall much of what happened. What she does remember is a younger sibling, though boy or girl she doesn't know. Since she turned 18, she's been in search of this sibling, this clue to her past, though all she has to go on is white hair and brown eyes that match her own, and a marking on the left shoulder of her family crest. In her search for this illusive sibling, Flamma was attacked by a gang of Heaven-helpers, who were convinced she was a demon. Most of her body is now scarred from that encounter, and when she'd healed from it, she decided to make the attack count for something, and fight for the Underworld. Personality: Flamma is generally a loner, largely because she hates responsibility unless she chooses it. While she considers herself a pacifist, majority of her childhood was spent 'training' with a legion of fighters, and as such, she's skilled with a katana, and a sure shot.
Name: Elegi Dirigo Age: 17 Weapon: Spiked gloves, darts Element: Health (and a lack thereof) Appearance: Side: Heaven Bio: Elegi was raised to believe that Heaven was the only side worth fighting--and dying--for, and so has spent her life devoted to the cause. Her father becoming a martyr a solidification in her mind that this was the way things were meant to be. Now she spends her time wandering, helping the cause where she can. Personality: While preachy and oddly optimistic, she has an uncanny ability to turn anything into a vilification for the Underworld, and an adulation to Heaven.
Name: Obdorma Papaver Age: 18 Weapon: Dagger, whip Element: Flora Appearance:
Side: Underworld Bio: It was discovered at a young age that Obdorma had a gift for making anything grow. Her parents took this as a sign that she was meant to spread joy to the world, which obviously meant that she was sent by Heaven. Her parents felt that this gift should be known throughout the land, and forced her to grow unnatural things as a show. When she was 12, an Underworld soldier, having seen this display, used her own poppies to kill her parents, and set her free. Deciding then that that was what she wished to be, she begged him to take her in, and for four years he did. Personality: Cold and callous, she has an extreme disliking for arrogance and assumptions. Obdorma has a liking for passion and loyalty, though she has very little trust in anyone.
Name: Kashistie Age: 23 Weapon(s): Switch blade Element(s): Puppeteering Appearance:
Side: Unknown (seems more like Heaven) Bio: Unknown Personality: Kashistie seems like your average girl, but she feels the occasional need to intervene in scenes where she thinks it would be fun. Generally, she makes temporary puppets when the people are in fights or other conflictory situations.

Trunade settled himself on the brance of an old tree and sighed softly. "Damnit, these stupid warp portals are really starting to cheese me off. That had to be the fourth one today." He sighed and looked down to the base of the tree, and to Majora. "Are you doing okay? I know that the past couple of days have been pretty strenuous, and I want to make sure you get all the rest you need."
Majora looked up at Trunade with her usual carefree smile and nodded. "Of course I'm okay. You take too well a care of me for me to say other wise. If anything, I should be worried about you."
"Well don't." Trunade said with a smile. "As long as I'm keeping you as safe as possible, I'll be perfectly fine."
"Pfft, look at those two, talking like a married couple." Johna scoffed. "Pah, just listening to them and looking make me want to yak." He imitated a throwing up motion then laughed loudly to himself. "What do you say Spritz, am I right, or am I right?"
Spritz flashed a quick glance to Johna, but didn't say anything. He blinked then lowered his head down and sat on the opposite side of the tree that Majora was at the base of.

Puer sat in what had been his room for the past 13 years, and somehow felt it foreign. He'd always been a taciturn boy, but now it seemed that this was forced rather than chosen. He let out a sigh, resting his chin on his forearm, 'We want to be alone, but never lonely,' the thought.
Flamma's energy was coursing through her body like a freshly lit kerosene blaze, and she sprinted through the streets of a newly deserted town, laughing all the while. "I can't believe they were that easy to take down!" she said to herself. "A bullet in each of 'em was enough."
Elegi stood amidst her fallen comrades, and checked for any signs of life. "Hmm," she toned softly, "whoever got them knew what they were doing." Wiping her hands off, she said, "It is obvious that the Heavens wanted me to see this so I will take out the hellion causing this destruction." After this proclamation, she did her self-appointed duty of laying out the bodies and performing the Heaven-way ritual.
Obdorma walked amidst the large trees of an unnamed forest. Though this was technically Heaven ground, she found the flora to be much livelier, and so found herself often dwelling within.

After a couple minutes, Trunade jumped off of the brance he was on, landing on the ground in front of Majora. He flashed her a grin then stepped back. "The demons in this area are always on the move. I think we should get going now."
"Um...okay." Majora said as she slowly stood up. She patted herself down then stepped away from the tree and beside Trunade. "Johna, Spritz, time to go!" She yelled, although it was only a tad higher than her usual delicate voice.
Johna shot a glance over to Majora and replied with a quick nod. He punched his fist together and walked over to her and Trunade. "I sure hope we run into some demons...fallen angels...anything that we can throw down on pretty much."
Spritz zlowly arose and joined the others. His expression was blank and slightly emotionless, as usual. "Ready." He lowly murmured. That was about all he's been saying for the past three or four days.
"You ever think of picking up a dictionary buddy?" Johna asked with a hint of a smirk. "Honestly, you have the vocabulary of a baby who's just learning how to speak." He stashed his hands in his pockets and began walking off ahead of the other three. This is something that he often did, in hopes of getting the first piece of action that came their way.
"Just ignore him Spritz." Majora said, trying to make Spritz feel better...If he was hurt that was. No one could ever tell. "You know how he is." She gave him a warm smile then looked to Trunade.
Trunade sighed, showing his annoyance as he began walking off in the same direction that Johna did. He glanced to his side, making sure that Majora was there, as she always was. He then looked behind him for Spritz, who was bringing up the rear. "Just like him..."

Puer sat at his window, watching the nothingness outside. A girl running through the streets shouting caught him off-gaurd, and he found himself oddly intrigued.
Flamma slowed her pace, taking a few deep breaths as she did. "I bet there's some ammo somewhere in this town," she said, "I'm getting low on the nines."
Elegi found that she's Heaven-way rituals so many times, it barely took any time at all, and she found herself on the trail of an Underworld scoundrel sooner than she'd thought.
Obdorma heard voices nearing her, and she wondered if she'd have cause for fighting. 'This is Heaven grounds,' she thought.

Trunade left Majora's side and took jogged up to Johna. "Hey, move back to the others, okay? I'd feel a lot safer if I were in front and able to see an oncoming attack. After all...You kinda have a tendancy to not pay attention."
Johna sneered, but did as he was told. "He's lucky I respect him." He muttered under his breath, now walking beside Majora. He glanced back to Spritz and shook his head. "Damn weirdo." He turned his head to the side, spit on the ground then tilted his head down.
"We should be arriving at the vortex that'll take us out of this place in no time." Majora said happily. "I can't wait to get back to earth so we could hopefully find a tranquil place to eat." She adjusted her clothing as she walked then directed her attention to Trunade. Even if she wasn't speaking to him, she always enjoyed looking at him.

Flamma walked nonchalantly down the street, and, spotting a door that hadn't been boarded, tried the knob. "Locked," she muttered, "idiots." With a swift quick, she knocked in the door, and stepped inside, looking around for any supplies she might need.
Puer watched from his window as the girl entered his home. He moved quietly toward the door to his room, and inched it shut, trying to avoid the squeak. No such luck.
Flamma, hearing a noise from the upstairs, charged up the steps where she found two doors, both ajar. "Someone's here," she muttered, "and I'm guessing they're behind door number one!" This last part she said as she shoved open a door, catching a young boy off gaurd.

A smile spread across Trunade's face as he saw a swirling vortex a few feet ahead of him. "Finally." He motioned for the others to speed up, then ran toward, and into the vortex. He landed inside of ruined toen, much like all the other ones he's been to. Just as he turned around, the other appeared on the other side of the vortex. "Good, we're all here. Now, let's try to find some place to eat."
Majora quickly moved to Trunade's side and the two of them began walking through the town. "Thanks for guiding us out of there Trunade, you always do."
"Yup, that's it, I've had just about enough of this." Johna threw his hands into the air and turned away from where Trunade and Majora were heading. He ran off to the west and began searching the town alone.
Spritz noticed Johna run off, but didn't say anything. Thinking that Johna left because Trunade and Majora wanted some alone time, he also decided to wander off.

Puer, though fascinated with the girl, tried to get around her, but she was faster. He struggled with her, but she was stronger.
"Would you stop wriggling around, kid," Flamma said through clenched teeth. "The sooner you give me the goods, the sooner I'll be out of your hair." The boy stopped writhing about, and she released him, "Now there's a good kid."
Puer bolted the instant he was released and head down the stairs with a quick jump. He was halfway to the door when he was tackled.
"What the hell is the matter with you!?" Flamma screamed. "Just give me whatever ammo and money you got, and I'll be on my way!"

Trunade, oblivious to the fact that both Johna and Spritz were gone, continued on his way with Majora. Just as he expected, there wasn't any area that he could see that he would deem as suitable to rest and eat at. "Damn desolate place." He muttered. "Why do I even bother to hope to find something?"
"Just think, it could be worst." Majora chimed in, trying to make things seem better, as usual. "How about we just see what's inside of that place?" She asked, pointing to a ruined building that looks like it was once a restuarant.
"Sure, why not." Trunade replied with a shrug. "It's not like we've got anything to lose." He gave his usual sigh, and began walking toward the building.
Johna was on a muttering streak as he strolled through the town with his hands in his pockets. His head had his normal diagonal tilt toward the ground as he passed by building after building, and in some cases body after body. His attention was suddenly grabbed as he felt a weird wave through his body. "Huh, what the...?" Upon looking up, he noticed that he had passed through yet another vortex. "Damnit!" He yelled, his voice echoing around him. "Hold up a second...This place is different than the ones I normally enter with the others. This place actually looks...Holy."
Spritz entered the crumbled remains of a library and began digging through the stacks of toppled over and damaged books. After a fruitless search for something that would be legable, he decided to just take a seat and wait for something to do.

Flamma had her hand wrapped thuroughly tight around the Puer's neck, and forced him past the open doorway and into what looked like it had once been a kitchen. "Food, ammo, money, now."
Puer stared at the girl as she loosened her grip slightly, then nodded. Opening a drawer, he removed a small, faded brown pouch with a draw string and held it out to her, then opened a cupboard door and removed some dried meat.
Flamma promptly removed the meat from his hand, and felt somehow oppressed by the ongoing stare of this strange child. "What?" she demanded, "You got a problem?" When no response was given, she headed back for the door, stopping only once to say, "Listen kid, this is a ghost town, go find a real place to live." Her tone had what could be misconstrued as a concern in it, but she stepped back into the street without a second glance, and made her way down the road.
Puer stood in the kitchen a while longer, then found himself oddly moved to follow. He suddenly took off, running full pace after the girl. She was far ahead of him by the time he spotted her, and he let out one high, sharp, "Wait!"

Trunade stepped over the crumbled door and into the building, scanning his surrounding as he did. He spotted a table on the far side of the room, along with cabinets lining the walls. "Have a seat Majora, I'll search the place."
Majora gave a quick nod then ran over to the table and sat down. She sighed to herself and leaned forward, resting her elbows on the edge of the table. "He never lets me do anything..."
Johna slowly and cautiously made his way through the new area that he was in, soon discovering that it was a forest of some sort. "Aww man...I hate wandering through forest. It could take me forever to get out of here."

Obdorma heard a voice as she pressed through the trees, and she moved toward it, though making sure to stay out of sight.
Elegi entered a ghost town and looked about. "This can't be right," she muttered, "no one who does damage like that would come to a place like this."
Flamma stopped at the high pitched request and turned around. "What the hell do you want, kid?" she shouted to him.
Puer ran the rest of the way to the girl, and rather than answering her, just breathed heavily, staring at her feet.
