Many generations ago there were tow teahouses, known all across China. They were bitter enemies due to their great differences. The Lee family was rebellious, yet hardworking, and famous for their food. However, the Shao family were all great dancers, who loved to entertain with their beauty. Constantly they fought over who served the best food and hospitality, almost ending in violence sometimes. Once, a boy and girl fell in love though they came from different teahouses. Eventually, they were banished. Their actions did not go without notice though. The head member of each family met and decided upon a truce. The other members of each family didn't hear much about the truce except they were to all live together under one teahouse. Little did they know that
for every Shao child...there must be a Lee child there to hold its hand...

The two teahouse families, Shao and Lee, have been berothed to the members of the other family! How will the newer generations handle this!

The Shao: The Shao are known to be quiet and beautiful, as well as great entertainers. They think of the Lee as brutal, savages and look down upon them.

The Lee: The Lee are master cooks, and aren't afraid to give customers a piece of their mind when they are difficult. The Lee feel angry at the Shao for looking down upon them.

The setting takes place in the teahouse the family shares, and EVERYONE in the same family is just cousins. If you want to be siblings with someone from the same family, ask them, the tell me.

I decided I won't be playing in this one, but post profiles and just pm me your character name.(i'm posting it on the main forum too.) confused

Personality: Ailin is nice and cares for others. She really didn't mind the Lee family but her family didn't like them and she didn't want them mad at her.

Honxin ( pronounced Ha-n-shin-) Lee, tonight, could be found in the back of the kitchen, obviously in one of his bad moods. Attop his normal attire, he wore a faded apron as he continued cooking, grumbling to himself about something. He didn't feel like being flashy, why bother when no one is watching.

"God... what gives them the right to call me or my family brutes..."
He was obviously angered at some earlier meeting with the family he was stuck sharing the tea house with. Normally he wouldn't care, but today for some reason, he felt angered, ready to lash out at the next person to bug with a butcher's knife.

He'd spin the butcher's knife he held around between his fingers rather deftly as he finished the current meal he was cooking. He'd push the dish aside as he rung a small bell, signifying the order was ready before wiping his hands on his apron, letting out a sigh.
He'd look out the window that overlooked the gardens, spotting one of the Shaos walking through the place.

"Must be that independant Shao girl I've heard of..."

He shrugged as he went back to gutting a raw fish. He had heard some talk about her, mainly negative things too. Seemed as if the family might like her almost as much as they liked his family.

"Seems ironic to me..."
Laughs softly at the thought.

"She's still out there?"

He'd look through the window again, curious now, it seemed as if she was trying to avoid something by going into the gardens. He was feeling better, cooking always helped him cool off. He spoke to one of the assistants in the kitchen, telling them he was going to take a quick break. He'd remove his apron, and brushes off his grey jeans and white shirt. He'd go out the back door that lead to the garden and walked up to the girl curiously.
